2. Feeding methods for ornamental fish 1. Feed selection: There are many types of ornamental fish, but most of them are omnivorous fish, so the feed selection is relatively wide. However, they are usually fed with artificial feed, which can be granular or flake. It should be noted that the size of the feed should not exceed the fish's mouth, otherwise it will not be able to eat it. It should be changed regularly. Feeding the same kind of feed for a long time can easily make the fish picky.

2. Feeding interval: Fish can be fed once a day or once every three days. Frequent feeding will make fish grow faster, but feeding too much will also upset their stomachs and cause enteritis. Pay attention when feeding. When fish are not swimming fast when grabbing food, it means they are full and you don't need to continue feeding.

3. Cleaning up the leftover bait: If you feed some bottom-sinking feed and the fish don’t grab it, it will become leftover bait. Leaving it in the water for a long time will cause water pollution. Therefore, you can raise some bottom-dwelling fish to clean it up, or you can pump water from the bottom to drain it out when changing the water.
