CATDOLL: How to keep pet jellyfish? How to keep pet jellyfish

1. How to keep pet jellyfish? How to keep pet jellyfish

1. Choose the right jellyfish. The toxicity of moon jellyfish is much less than that of other dangerous jellyfish (such as box jellyfish). Or the jellyfish in the jellyfish lake. However, if people with sensitive constitutions accidentally touch jellyfish, they may still experience itching and redness due to contact with the stinging cells on the jellyfish.

2. Seawater aquaculture. Jellyfish are marine organisms, so they must be cultured in seawater. The water should be changed every week or so to prevent dirt and microorganisms from blocking the jellyfish and fish from receiving energy and affecting their movement speed. Be careful not to touch the jellyfish when changing the water. Don't rush when adding water, but be slow.

3. Professional equipment. Aquariums designed specifically for marine life, especially jellyfish, require certain water flow control for special species of jellyfish.

4. Temperature. A thermostat should be placed in the aquarium to keep the water temperature at around 25 degrees Celsius, otherwise the fish will have problems with their "survival".

5. Feeding. Jellyfish have high requirements for food, and plankton such as brine shrimp and brine shrimp (please refer to other experience for the cultivation of brine shrimp) are their favorites.

2. How to raise cup jellyfish How to raise cup jellyfish

1. Never poke the jellyfish with your hands or other objects, and never take the jellyfish out of the water. The jellyfish is very soft and any slight poking may cause injury to the jellyfish.

2. Place it in a well-ventilated place and avoid direct sunlight to maintain the water temperature. This is the same as when we raise small fish.

3. Water preparation method: Find a bottle of about 500ml (usually a mineral water bottle), pour a small packet of sea salt into the bottle, fill it with tap water or mineral water, and after the salt is completely melted, you can use the prepared seawater to change the water for the jellyfish.

3. How to raise poisonous jellyfish? Can you remove its toxicity?

Jellyfish breeding is actually similar. You mainly need to pay attention to salt and temperature control. The only difference is that you need to be especially careful when feeding. You cannot touch it directly with your hands. You should use tweezers to put it into its tentacles. Poisonous jellyfish are generally carnivorous animals. It is best to use live fish and shrimp when feeding them. They will like to eat them. Regarding toxicity, unfortunately, there is no way to eliminate it now. Its toxicity is different from that of pufferfish. The toxicity of pufferfish comes from food, which can be eliminated by controlling diet, but the toxicity of jellyfish comes from itself, so there is no way to eliminate it.
