1. Grouper

Grouper is a general term for fishes of the subfamily Epinephelinae, belonging to the class Osteichthyes, subclass Neopterygii, superorder Acanthopterygii, order Perciformes, suborder Percoidei, family Serranidae. It is a large and medium-sized warm-water marine fish widely distributed in tropical and subtropical waters. In my country, it is mainly distributed in the Taiwan Strait and the South China Sea.

It is also called, skirt hairtail, fat hairtail, oil hairtail, tooth hairtail, etc. It is ferocious. Qingdao and Rizhao, cities along the Yellow Sea, call it hairtail fish. The body of hairtail is flat and ribbon-like, silver-gray in color, with light gray dorsal and pectoral fins and very small spots, and a black tail. The hairtail has a pointed head and a large mouth, which gradually becomes thinner towards the tail, and is about 1 meter long.

It is ferocious and feeds mainly on shrimps and squids. It is mainly distributed in the western Pacific and Indian Oceans, and in the Yellow Sea, East China Sea, Bohai Sea and South China Sea in China. It is known as one of the four major seafoods in China, along with large yellow croaker, small yellow croaker and squid.

5. Yellow croaker

Yellow croaker, Larimichthys (DS Jordan et Starks, 1905), also known as yellow croaker, is a general term for a genus of yellow croaker in the family Sciaenidae. It is found in the East China Sea. There are two hard stones in the fish's head, called otoliths, so it is also called stonehead fish. The white fish bladder in the fish's belly can be used as fish glue, which has a hemostatic effect and can prevent hemorrhagic purpura.

Yellow croaker is divided into large yellow croaker (Larimichthys crocea) and small yellow croaker (Larimichthys polyactis), which are one of the four major marine species in my country. Large yellow croaker is also called Daxian, Jinlong, cucumber fish, red melon, golden dragon, osmanthus yellow croaker, big king fish, big yellow croaker; small yellow croaker is also called plum, plum fish, small king fish, small xian, small spring fish, small cucumber fish, thick scales, flower fish. All belong to the class of bony fish, order of Perciformes, family of Sciaenidae, genus of yellow croaker.

5. Silver carp: Also known as silver carp and silver carp. It has a large head, wide mouth, flat body, small eyes, forked tail, small silvery scales, warm-loving, upper-layer fish, feeds on surface plankton and algae, is lively, often jumps out of the water, and travels in groups.
