Comprehensive measures should be adopted to control mosquitoes and flies in large-scale farms. According to the life history of flies, only through the combination of environmental control, drug killing and biological control can mosquitoes and flies be controlled and killed economically, simply and effectively. (1) Maintain good environmental hygiene, eliminate mosquito and fly breeding grounds, promptly remove feces and urine from pens and livestock and poultry, keep pens ventilated and dry, control humidity in pens, and reduce the number of places where mosquitoes and flies breed. (ii) Use mosquito and fly prevention facilities such as screens and water curtains; you may also use fly bottles, fly lamps, fly paper, etc. to capture and kill flies. (3) Weeds are often where mosquitoes live during the day. If there are no weeds in the pig farm, mosquitoes will have no place to hide. Eliminating weeds will leave mosquitoes with nowhere to hide, which is also a way to reduce mosquitoes. 4. Drug prevention and treatment Drug control is an important measure to eliminate flies. It can kill adult flies and quickly reduce the density of adult flies. Commonly used insecticides include pyrethroids, pyrethroids, and organophosphates. Spraying, painting, homemade poison bait, fly poisoning ropes, etc. can be used to make flies contact with insecticides and die of poisoning. (V) Biological control: Cultivate natural enemies of mosquitoes and flies (spiders, geckos, beetles, snails, etc.) in feces. Under natural conditions, biological control is the most effective method of controlling flies compared to chemical drugs. In addition, mosquitoes and flies also bring a lot of troubles and inconveniences to pig farm workers. The following methods can be used to reduce indoor mosquitoes and flies: (1) Burning dried orange peels indoors can replace mosquito coils. It can not only eliminate indoor odors, but also remove mosquitoes and flies. (2) Placing a few pots of tomatoes indoors can drive away mosquitoes and flies. (3) Place the tuberose potted flowers in the sun during the day and in a cool, ventilated place at night. The scent of the tuberose will make mosquitoes flee as soon as they smell it. (4) Place some fresh mint leaves in the room. The coolness will keep mosquitoes away. After a mosquito bite, rub the affected area with clean mint leaves to relieve itching and swelling. |
