Introduction to cold water fish farming species and economic fish

The species of cold water fish culture are salmon, trout and sturgeon. Their original living environment is mountain streams and rivers. The water quality in natural waters is good and the water temperature is low.

When choosing water sources for cold-water fish farming, spring water and fresh river water should be selected, and the water temperature should be 10-18℃. Farms that use river water with higher water temperature as water sources can add some groundwater to lower the water temperature in summer. Hello everyone, I am very happy to talk to you about which cold-water fish is easier to raise? At the same time, it is cost-effective!

First place: Grass goldfish: Recommendation index: 4 stars

Grasshopper goldfish is the best cold-water fish! No other! I believe that grasshopper goldfish is the main fish species for most fish lovers who want to keep fish for the first time. It is super hardy and durable!

The price of grass goldfish is very cheap among the general ornamental fish. Generally, you can buy a 10 cm goldfish for 2 to 5 yuan. And it is sold in general aquarium stores and rural markets.

Why don't experienced fish lovers keep it? I think it may be because of the name? Or maybe it's because it's too cheap? Not high-end enough? You can discuss this in the comments section.

Second place: Koi: Recommendation index: 5 stars

I still raise koi, which can be said to be a classic cold-water fish species in the aquarium circle. Koi and goldfish are both very hardy, but their tolerance to fluctuations in water quality is not as high as that of goldfish.

But in terms of viewing experience and "level", there is a world of difference!

In fact, I think the reason why koi are so tough is mainly because they are large, with large ones growing to more than 1 meter, and they exercise a lot every day. So koi are relatively strong.

Third place: Douyu: Recommendation index: 5 stars

In fact, there are many betta fish in our country, but Liu has never seen wild ones. He bought them in aquarium stores or markets. I raised betta fish when I was a child. I could raise them in a small cup without oxygen. This is mainly because betta fish have labyrinth organs (also known as folded gills). This allows betta fish to survive in extremely low oxygen content, so basically no oxygen is needed. It is very suitable for raising in places like office desks and writing desks.

Fourth place: Guanbei Medaka: Recommendation index: 4 stars

The first time I raised a Green Medaka was in the first two years. At that time, I particularly liked small tanks, so I looked up this fish. I was really amazed when I saw the Green Medaka for the first time. It was simply a miniature koi!

But why is it recommended 4 stars? The main reason is the price of the Green Medaka. I think it is not yet in a reasonable price range, at least not at my psychological price.

Fifth place: Goldfish: Recommendation index: 4 stars

Around me, eight out of ten fish lovers have raised goldfish. Goldfish is also a super classic fish species in our country, and there are many varieties. In fact, in Liu Cixin's opinion, goldfish are a mutant fish species. In my mind, goldfish are born for viewing, so some varieties are actually very difficult to raise, such as: Pearl; so here I recommend you the goldfish varieties: Gilded, National Lion, Tiger Head;

Why is this classic goldfish only given 4 stars? It's mainly because of the reproduction of goldfish! Goldfish have several waves of reproduction and shed eggs every year; every time they shed eggs, they are always everywhere, and the water quality is easily deteriorated! So relatively speaking, I personally don't recommend that novices raise this right away. Goldfish shed eggs cannot be solved by simply changing the water, you will know if you have experienced it yourself.

Well, that’s all for today. The fish I’m talking about today are not from random research, but from my own personal experience! If you find this useful, I hope you can give me a thumbs up.
