The difference between Canadian clams and Dandong clams

Canadian geoduck (scientific name: Panopea abrupta), also known as Pacific geoduck, emperor clam, and goddess clam, is a high-end seafood that is highly sought after by people in the Far East, including Chinese and Japanese.

The native place is along the North Pacific coast of the United States and Canada.

Because of its large, fleshy red tube, it is called "geoduck".

Geoduck is the longest-living and largest cave clam in the world.

It is capable of burying itself up to a meter deep in the ocean floor.

Artificial breeding began in the Chinese market in 1996.
