CATDOLL : Under what circumstances can cats not be dewormed?

Situations where cats cannot be dewormed:

1. Failure to perform external deworming immediately after bathing the cat may result in deworming failure. It is recommended to wait 3 days after bathing to perform deworming.

2. During the cat's pregnancy, deworming cannot be performed as it may easily affect the fetus.

3. Cats cannot be dewormed right after being vaccinated. When a cat has just been vaccinated, its immunity will be reduced, and deworming at this time will affect the cat's health.

4. When a cat has a stress reaction, it cannot be dewormed, mainly for the health of the cat.

5. Cats cannot be dewormed when they are sick, anemic or malnourished. Deworming drugs have certain side effects and may make the cat's condition worse.

Cat deworming precautions:

1. Observe the cat's physical condition before deworming to see if it has diarrhea, fever or other conditions.

2. The dosage of anthelmintics must be based on the cat's weight and the requirements of the instructions.

3. Cats should be fasted for 5-6 hours before deworming, and also for 3-4 hours after deworming.

4. You cannot take a bath within one week after external deworming.

5. If the cat has just been vaccinated, it cannot be dewormed within seven days.
