How to wean a kitten:

1. Prepare alternative milk powder: The weaning period of kittens begins at 4 weeks of age. You need to prepare goat milk powder or special milk powder and kitten food.

2. Let the kitten learn from its mother cat: Kittens observe their mother cats just like children observe adults. Kittens can learn how their mother cats eat. Let the kittens live with their mother cats for a period of time, and then they will gradually learn to survive independently, and even choose to stay away from their mother cats.

3. Artificial feeding: Kittens need to eat four to five meals a day. You can use a syringe, dropper or small bottle to suck out cat milk substitute and feed it to it, supplemented with some kitten food.

4. Gradually transition to cat food: For solid cat food, you also need to give your kitten an adaptation process. At first, break up the kitten food and soften it with milk replacer or water.
