CATDOLL : Can I use saline solution to clean my cat's ears?

Do not use saline solution to wash cats' ears. Saline solution has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects, but it will irritate the cat's ears and cause discomfort to the cat. It is recommended to use pet-specific ear wash water to wash cats' ears. If the cat's ears are not diseased, they do not need to be cleaned frequently. If the cat's ears are greasy and muddy, you can wipe them with a cotton swab dipped in appropriate water.

Steps to clean your cat's ears:

1. Step 1: Soothe the cat. You can rub and press in circles on the depression behind the cat's ears to make it feel relaxed.

2. Step 2: Lift up the cat's ears, drop ear cleansing solution into the cat's ears, and knead the cat's ears for about 30 seconds.

3. Step 3: Loosen the cat's ears and let the cat shake out the earwax and excess ear cleaning solution by itself.

4. Step 4: Use a cotton swab to wipe the dirt on the auricle, and then gently wipe the cat's ear canal with a paper towel.
