Fish market in Beijing

1. Guanyuan Fish Market is located about 200 meters northeast of Fuchengmen Interchange. Take bus No. 15 or No. 19 to Maweigou Station. Guanyuan Fish Market was the largest fish market in Beijing at the beginning. At that time, it was not in the current location, but in the southeast corner of Xizhimen Bridge, where the mobile phone street is now. Later, it moved because of road construction, and its scale became much smaller. Now there are more than a dozen fish merchants, seven or eight aquarium equipment merchants, and four or five fish food sellers in Guanyuan Fish Market.

2. Panjiayuan Fish Market, located on the east side of the Folk Culture Center of Huasheng Overpass in Panjiayuan, has 7 ornamental fish merchants, 3 equipment merchants, 1 aquatic plant store, and 1 reptile store. The fish market did not exist originally. It originated from Longtan Lake Bird Market. There were several people who sold fish on tricycles there. Later, Longtan Lake Bird Market disappeared, and Yuting Bridge Bird Market opened. Dozens of rooms were set aside to sell fish. After attracting investment, more than a dozen fish merchants came, including the larger ones like Wen Jiangfeng. After Yuting Bridge was demolished, these merchants became monkeys and scattered, and most of them moved to Panjiayuan, which became the current fish market. At present, Panjiayuan Fish Market can be regarded as a wholesale base for ordinary aquariums and aquarium equipment in Beijing. Some small fishmongers in other markets wholesale from there, so if you want to buy equipment, I think it is cheapest to go to Panjiayuan in Beijing. For example, Kyoto Bibo Aquarium Supplies World is good, and the merchant is Qin Yuying. There are 5 branches in Beijing, namely in Taoranting Yunnayu, Fuchengmen, Huangsi, Xizhimen, and Panjiayuan. The drum filter is especially cheap (of course you have to bargain). As for the fish, these fish dealers are not cheap, and are even more expensive than some fish markets. But one of the dealers is called Duan Baoqing, who is directly affiliated with the Hongfu Ornamental Fish Base in Changping, Beijing. Most of the fish are native to Beijing and have a high survival rate. Although the fish market does not sell marine fish, it has related equipment and sea salt. Special mention: "There is a store in Dongtouer with nearly 100 marine biochemical rocks piled at the door. They are very cheap, 4 yuan per kilogram. Friends who want to buy can go and have a look."

3. Fulite Ornamental Fish Center is located in Fulite Commercial Street, 100 meters east of Madian Bridge. There are six or seven tropical fish merchants, four marine fish merchants, one Koi merchant (real two-stage red and white, Taisho Sanshoku, Kanoko Zhaohe, etc., not the irregular small carp sold in ordinary fish markets), and three equipment merchants. There is not much to say about Fulite's equipment and tropical fish. Equipment is relatively expensive due to high rent; tropical fish are not very developed, mostly common ones. Only an old man in the northwest corner of the market specializes in Tan Lake Cichlids (blue sword sand, yellow lantern, blue lantern, etc.) Luohan, etc. are quite unique, and there is no need to say much about the rest. But Fulite is the fish market that sells the most marine fish in Beijing. Some small marine fish sellers in other urban areas wholesale from here. The best quality fish is from Haiyang Yijing. This store is not in Fulit Market, but about 150 meters north of the main entrance of Fulit Market. The owner of this store is Jiang Shejian (from Guangdong). It is said that his relative is the leader of Hainan Ocean... So his fish are from the same source as the aquarium, and the quality is better. There is another store in the market that sells more butterfly fish, but the quality of the fish is not so good. Please pay attention to it.

4. Tianyu Ornamental Fish Market in Tuanjiehu is located in Tianyu Comprehensive Market on the east side of Tuanjiehu Park. There are more than ten fish merchants, five or six equipment merchants, and one marine fish merchant. It is the largest fish market in the eastern part of Beijing. The fish market is not very eye-catching. Its origin is the original Shuizhuzi fish market. After the demolition of Shuizhuzi, some of the fish merchants went to Shifoying Fish Market (now demolished), and most of them came to Tuanjiehu, so the scale of Tuanjiehu has grown. From the perspective of the types of fish sold, it is more complete than the previous three fish markets. Because it is located in the middle of the residential area, the transportation is convenient and the passenger flow is not small. This year, a new store for Tanhu Cichlids and American Dwarf Cichlids was opened, making the varieties more prosperous. Due to the large passenger flow, many fish merchants have recycled the fish that they don't want to keep at home, which provides convenience for the majority of fish lovers. However, with the investment promotion of the Dongjiao Ornamental Fish Market, there has been a certain loss of merchants here. The fish prices in Tianyu Ornamental Fish Market are moderate (but the newly introduced cichlids and dwarf cichlids are more expensive than those in the official fish market). The quality of the fish is good and there are many varieties of equipment. It can be regarded as a relatively comprehensive ornamental fish market at present.

5. Hepingli Ornamental Fish Market. I haven't been there for more than a year. I don't know if it still exists. It is located in the middle of Hepingli. In 1997, when the breeding of tetras and African cichlids was just beginning, the fish market was relatively developed and there were many fish merchants. But in the following years, the sales and types were relatively single, and there were no good equipment. I don't know if it will improve in the future. But there is only one fish market in that area.

6. Tianning Temple Ornamental Fish Market, located on the south side of Tianning Temple and surrounded by residential areas. The predecessors were Binhe Road Ornamental Fish Market (beside the moat) and Hufangqiao Ornamental Fish Market. After the two fish markets were demolished, the fish merchants moved here. Later, Guanyuan was demolished to build a green belt and the fish merchants there also moved here, forming the Tianning Temple Fish Market. The rent here is moderate. At the beginning, there were many fish merchants, almost comparable to Guanyuan. Later, due to low customer flow and poor management, half of them ran away, and now there are only 7 left. However, there is a store specializing in seven-color fairy fish, with many varieties of seven-color fish and good quality. Friends who like seven-color fish may wish to take a look. This is a youth fish market that has been open for 2 years. As long as it does not die, it will definitely develop.

7. Lize Ornamental Fish Market, located in the middle of Lize Road, near Sanluju. It was completed more than a year ago, and its origin is unknown (probably developed from the fish sellers at the east gate of the Temple of Heaven). However, due to its poor location and inconvenient transportation, it has never developed. However, the few fish and equipment merchants there have a lot of goods, including freshwater fish, seawater fish, various equipment, sea salt, etc. Moreover, since the rent is low, the prices of fish and equipment are very low. You will know it by telling a few numbers: a 30CM tamping head with a large purple and yellow fire mouth is only sold for 100 yuan (this is before bargaining), a 20CM three-room emperor is 15 yuan, a seawater fish red lion (already fed) is only 100 yuan, a Jiabao 1.2-meter side round lake that can be used as a room partition fish tank is 1,300 yuan (including bottom cabinet, filter, two light box covers, electronic controller), domestic sea salt is 30 yuan/3 kg (after bargaining), and live rock is 4.5 yuan/kg. If you don't believe me, you can go and have a look. I'm really worried that the fish market will close down due to poor management one day, and there will be no place to buy such cheap things. The biggest fish dealer there is Guo Hongyu, who is a member of the Ornamental Fish Research Association of the China Fisheries Association and a Jiabao Aquarium Supplies Store. If you live in the south city and don't know about Lize Bridge yet, you can go and have a look someday.

8. Dongjiao Ornamental Fish Market is located on the west side of Dongjiao Market. Together with the flower and handicraft halls, it can be said that it is the fish market with the largest actual area in Beijing. Although all stalls are currently fully booked, it has not officially opened for business because some projects have not been completed. The reason why I want to talk about it is mainly because I think the fish market has great development prospects. First, the future passenger flow is large. The fish market is close to the Dongjiao Wholesale Market, and there are four or five high-end residential communities such as SOHU Modern City and Zhujiang Dijing around it, and the transportation is also very convenient. Second, all stalls are fully rented before the official opening, which shows that the majority of merchants are optimistic about it. This is much better than Tianning Temple and Lize Bridge, which opened last year and the year before. Third, the rent is not expensive, and the price of goods will not be too expensive. Fourth, the scale of the nearby fish market is reduced or demolished (such as Shifoying Ornamental Fish Market). Fifth, it is close to the flower market and is an ideal sales place. In short, it has the right time, right place, and anything else. If it is well promoted in the later stage, I think it is expected to become the new largest ornamental fish market in Beijing.

9. Zhongshu Forest Ornamental Fish Market is located in Zhongshu Forest Flower Market, 300 meters from Xiangxiang Bridge. There are more than ten vendors in total. It is a large-scale ornamental fish market in Beijing in recent years. Various tropical fish and marine fish are sold. It should be pointed out here that except for the marine life specialty store at the north end of the market, other marine vendors seem to purchase their goods from Fulit, so the fish prices are relatively high, but many people have eaten them. The freshwater fish are mainly African cichlids and arowana. Compared with other fish markets, there are more varieties and they are cheaper. In short, I don’t go to Beicheng often, so I don’t know much about the merchant information. I hope that netizens who know can supplement it.

In addition to the above 9 fish markets with different characteristics, there is also the Heizhuanghu ornamental fish market. Heizhuanghu Township in Tongzhou has always been the hometown of goldfish, so it mainly sells and wholesales the "national quintessence" goldfish, but the transportation is inconvenient. Friends who like goldfish can go and have a look. I only went there once 2 years ago (the terminus of bus 397 is there), and I found that the only drawback is that there are relatively few egg-type goldfish. Yuandu Ornamental Fish and Flower Market located in Qijiahuozi (terminus of bus 55) is also a good ornamental fish market, but I haven't been there for a long time.

On the first floor of the Taipei Department Store is a famous flower, bird, fish and insect market. This market was once the fish market in the Bayi Park.

You can take bus No. 243, 248, 209, etc. to get there.

There is also a flower, bird, fish and insect market on Dezeng Street (near Hengjie) in Dadong District.

You can take bus No. 211, No. 221, etc. to get there.

There is a fish market on Banyunanshi Road in Tiexi District, between Weigong Hengchun Street and Zhaogong Street.

You can get there by taking bus 204, 226, 278, etc., especially 226, because I often take 226 to buy fish there.
