The weeds in sorghum fields are very troublesome. How to prevent and control weeds in sorghum fields?

Chemical weed control from after sowing to before emergence is a method of weed control using the time-difference selection method. It is to spray herbicides on the sorghum field after sowing sorghum seeds and before the seedlings emerge. When applying pesticides when weeds germinate early, pay attention to wind speed and direction to prevent the liquid from drifting to adjacent sensitive broad-leaved crop fields. It is best to wear a protective cover on the sprayer nozzle.

Chemical weed control at the seedling stage is to achieve the purpose of killing weeds and protecting seedlings by using the different biochemical processes of the metabolism of herbicides in crops and weeds. Sorghum has strong resistance to pesticides at the 5-8 leaf stage after emergence, so it is safer to use chemical herbicides. However, before 5 leaves and after 8 leaves, sorghum is very sensitive to herbicides, so chemical weed control at the seedling stage is generally carried out at the 5-8 leaf stage.

It is necessary to apply enough basal fertilizer and increase the application of phosphorus fertilizer to facilitate sugar accumulation. It is not advisable to apply too much nitrogen fertilizer in the middle and late stages of sorghum planting to avoid excessive growth, which will affect the accumulation of sugar in the stems and the normal maturity of the grains. This is the key to fertilization.

Topdressing can be done at the beginning of jointing, combined with the third intertillage. See if the grass germinates well within 1-3 cm, but cannot germinate below 5 cm. The weed reproduction coefficient is quite large. One plant of Artemisia selengensis can produce 500,000 seeds, and purslane can produce 200,000 seeds. After deep plowing, a large number of seeds can be turned into deep soil to prevent them from germinating, which can reduce the damage of weeds.

After sowing the seeds and covering them with soil, we can use herbicides to spray the weed seeds on the soil surface to prevent the weeds from germinating prematurely. When the sorghum grows green leaves, the weeds will also break through the soil one after another. At this time, we can use a hoe to remove the weeds. Try not to use herbicides to avoid affecting the growth of sorghum.

Other herbicides: Paraquat and glyphosate are lethal herbicides that can be sprayed in a targeted manner after the corn is 40 cm tall to effectively control a variety of weeds. You can also use varieties such as silanol, benzylpyridinium, bromoxynil, and bentazon to control broadleaf weeds in corn fields.

The more diligent uncles and aunts in our village would pull out the weeds by hand when corn and sorghum were just planted. Some would wait until the corn and sorghum grew to a certain height and then use geese to eat the weeds!

You should check it regularly. If you find weeds in the anal fistula, you should remove them immediately, or spray some pesticides around them so that they will not grow again.

In fact, we can spray some pesticides and hoe the fields at normal times, and the problem can be solved.

We should spray some pesticides and do weeding at the same time in normal times, so that we can effectively reject weeds and achieve the effect we want.

Please tell me, besides raising flies to breed maggots, is there any other way to get maggots?

If you use it for fishing, use something that can attract flies to lay eggs. It depends on what is convenient for you. Then take a box and put some feed in it to collect the eggs. Be sure to keep the humidity. In summer, you can see maggots after one night. This is how I raise them.
