Centipedes are social animals that live together in groups of different sizes. When food is insufficient or the habitat is too small, they will fight each other. Centipedes like to live in damp and dark places. If the environment at home is humid, the centipedes that appear may have already existed in the home, and there may be other centipedes.

If your home is relatively dry and clean, then the centipede that appeared might have just crawled in from outside. There are generally no other centipedes in the home. Just make sure to keep your home clean and dry.
