CATDOLL: What does intraperitoneal injection in fish mean?

1. What does intraperitoneal injection in fish mean?

The injection site for intraperitoneal injection is the front edge of the pelvic fin. The needle should be inserted at a 25° angle to the body surface to prevent damage to the fish's internal organs. The advantage of this method is that the antigen is absorbed the fastest.

2. How much doramectin should be injected into adult dogs?

Yes, the dosage of imported ivermectin is 0.1ml/kg, injected once a week for 5 consecutive times. You can also increase the dosage by 2 times. Generally, there will be no problem. However, the dosage of domestically produced ivermectin cannot be increased casually, as it may cause poisoning and lead to death.

There is one most important point: Collies such as Scottish Shetland Sheepdogs, Border Collies, etc. cannot be injected with ivermectin, which will cause death. They should be replaced with doramectin.

3. What is the dosage and usage of dopamine hydrochloride injection?

Dopamine hydrochloride is a vasoactive drug and a prescription western medicine. The clinical therapeutic effect of this drug is related to the dosage. When it is between 2-5ug/kg.min, it is used to strengthen the heart and increase the contractility of the myocardium, thereby achieving the effect of improving cardiac function. When it is above 10ug/kg.min, its effect is to increase blood pressure.

4. How to do the injection method in fish immunization? Fish?

Fish vaccination is the best choice for preventing diseases that are difficult to control and often cause huge losses. Vaccines for preventing bacterial diseases on the domestic and foreign markets include formalin-inactivated bacteria and oil-adjuvanted products; in addition, oral vaccines that can be mixed with bait and fed have also appeared on the foreign market. There are monovalent vaccines that only fight against one type of bacteria, and there are also multivalent vaccines that can fight against more than one type of bacteria.

So here's the specific method.

Injection vaccination: When the fish are large enough (average weight of 50 g/tail or more), intraperitoneal injection can be used for vaccination. If the immersion method is used at this time, the number of fish isolated by tarpaulin is small due to the large size of the fish. When anesthetizing, the larger the fish, the greater the risk of self-injury due to stress reaction, so extra caution is required. Subsequently, a small group of fish is scooped out with a net and placed in a container with a higher concentration of anesthetic dilution until the fish are still. When operating on the vaccination table, the fish's head is facing outward and the fish's belly is facing up, and the vaccine (usually 0.1-0.2 ml) is injected into the fish's abdomen. The needle penetrates the abdominal cavity about 0.5 cm. A fully automatic syringe can be used. After the injection, the fish is placed in a temporary holding tank and will recover from the anesthesia after a few minutes.

Immersion vaccination: For this method of vaccination, a large group of fish is separated from the rest of the cage by a tarpaulin and a small amount of diluted anaesthetic is added to tranquilize the fish. Air or oxygen is pumped in continuously during this period to prevent hypoxia. The appropriate dose of vaccine is calculated based on the estimated weight of the fish to be vaccinated (usually 1 litre of vaccine is required for every 100 kg of fish). The vaccine is diluted in seawater or freshwater in a suitable container (a common dilution ratio is 1:10, i.e. 1 litre of vaccine to 9 litres of water). Oxygen may be slowly introduced into the vaccine diluent to reduce stress on the fish. The sedated fish are removed from the tarpaulin, approximately 0.5 kg at a time, to avoid overcrowding or crushing. The water is drained and the fish are placed in the vaccine diluent for a period of time, usually at least 30 seconds. The routine procedure is to place the fish removed from the tarpaulin in a perforated plastic bowl in the vaccine diluent and, at the end of the soaking period, the fish are removed from the vaccine solution and placed in a holding facility.

Finally, let me talk about some precautions

In order to keep the stomach and intestine almost empty during inoculation, the fish should be fasted before inoculation. The smaller the fish and the higher the water temperature, the shorter the fasting time required. Fasted fish have poor tolerance to stimulation caused by handling and are sensitive to anesthetics;

Vaccination is only suitable for healthy fish that have not been subjected to any stimulation. It should not be performed when the fish is sick or has recently been severely handled or subjected to other environmental stimulation.

During immersion inoculation, the temperature difference between the vaccine diluent and the aquaculture water should not exceed 2;

Vaccination must be carried out in a disease-free environment, and the fish can be exposed to the disease or transferred to a disease-prone pool about 2 weeks after vaccination when the water temperature is 15 degrees Celsius. The higher the water temperature, the shorter the time required to produce immunity.

5. What is the dosage of levofloxacin lactate injection?

Levofloxacin lactate injection is used to treat various infections. It can treat bacterial infections, bronchitis, tonsillitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, etc. Levofloxacin lactate injection is used for drip. The dosage needs to be based on the condition of the disease. The drug needs to be used under the guidance of a doctor. If bronchitis or urinary tract infection, the drip should be used for about 2-3 days.

6. What is the dosage of Ligustrazine Injection as stated in the instructions?

The main ingredient of Ligustrazine Hydrochloride Injection is Ligustrazine Hydrochloride, which is mainly used to treat cerebral insufficiency, cerebral infarction, cerebral embolism, etc. The specification is 2 ml per vial, containing 40 mg of active ingredient. In the treatment of acute ischemic diseases such as ischemic cerebrovascular disease, add 2-4 ml of Ligustrazine Hydrochloride Injection to 5% GS or 0.9% NS 250-500 ml diluted intravenous drip solution, and drip once a day for 10 consecutive days.

7. How much vitamin B6 should be injected into puppies?

Subcutaneous injection, intramuscular injection or intravenous injection, 50mg-100mg once a day. When used for the detoxification of cycloserine poisoning, 300mg or more per day. When used for the detoxification of isoniazid poisoning, 1g of vitamin B6 is given intravenously for every 1g of isoniazid.

8. What is the usage and dosage of Ethamethamide Injection?

1. Intramuscular injection or intravenous injection: 0.25-0.5g once, 0.5-1.5g per day. Intravenous drip: 0.25-0.75g once, 2-3 times a day, drip after dilution. 2. Prevention of postoperative bleeding: 0.25-0.5g intravenous drip or intramuscular injection 15-30 minutes before surgery, and another 0.25g injection 2 hours later if necessary.

9. What is the dosage of alprostadil injection as stated in the instructions?

Alprostadil injection is mainly used for the elderly with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular problems.

Generally, the injection dose for adults is once a day, 1 to 2 ml at a time. Ten ml of normal saline solution can be added for slow intravenous injection.

After the injection, it is normal to experience vascular pain, redness, hardness and itching at the injection site. However, if shock occurs, the medication must be stopped immediately.

10. How much lincosine hydrochloride should be injected into cats?

For oral administration, the single dose is 10-15 mg per kg body weight for pigs and 15-25 mg per kg body weight for dogs and cats, 1-2 times a day for 3-5 consecutive days.

Mixed with drinking water, per liter of water, 40-70 mg for pigs and 17 mg for chickens (calculated as lincomycin).

Mixed: 44-77 g for pigs and 2.2-4.4 g for poultry (calculated as lincomycin) per 1,000 kg of feed. Use continuously for 1-3 weeks or until symptoms disappear.

For intramuscular injection, a single dose is 10 mg per kg body weight for pigs, once a day, and 10 mg for dogs and cats, twice a day, for 3 to 5 consecutive days.
