Mandarin fish, commonly known as Gui, is a freshwater fish native to my country. It is delicious, high in protein and rich in nutrition, and is therefore widely loved by consumers. In addition, mandarin fish grows fast, has a high yield and is of great economic value. At present, mandarin fish is produced in major rivers, river systems and lakes in all parts of my country except the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and its breeding distribution is very extensive. So how to breed mandarin fish? Let's learn about it together. 1. Pond selection The main pond for mandarin fish breeding requires a newly opened pond that is leeward and sunny, with loam and sand as the bottom, less silt or no silt. The pond bottom should be flat, slightly inclined towards the drain, 1.5-2 meters deep, with a complete irrigation and drainage system, sufficient water source, fresh, pollution-free, and good water quality. 2. Clear the pond and cultivate water There are two key points to pond cleaning: first, expose to the sun for 1-3 months; second, clean the pond with quicklime. After exposure to the sun, add 5-10cm of water, dig several small holes evenly around and in the middle of the pond, and dissolve the quicklime in water. Add water a few days in advance, and wait until the water quality is stable before planting seedlings. When adding water, use a dense net to prevent all kinds of debris from entering; it is recommended to cultivate a pond with fertility and stable good water. Tea seeds, organic fertilizers, inorganic fertilizers, etc. can be used. The water quality requires pH, ammonia nitrogen, and nitrite to be within a reasonable range. 3. Fish stocking To ensure the survival rate of aquaculture, the stocking specifications must be above 3 cm. Generally, 1000-1500 3-4 cm mandarin fish are stocked per acre. 4. Feeding Providing palatable, sufficient and healthy bait fish is the basis for the success of mandarin fish farming. Mandarin fish feed on live fish and shrimp throughout their lives. Different growth stages have different requirements for the specifications and food intake of bait fish. Specifically, during the fish seed breeding period, bait fish accounts for 50%-70% of the body length of mandarin fish, and the daily food intake accounts for 50%-70% of the body weight of mandarin fish. During the grow-out period, bait fish accounts for about 30% of the body length of mandarin fish, and the daily food intake accounts for 10%-20% of the body weight of mandarin fish. 5. Daily management (1) Patrol the pond frequently: If you find a slow-swimming or dead mandarin fish, check it immediately and pull it ashore. Observe whether there are enough bait fish and whether the mandarin fish are chasing fish normally. In addition, you should learn to observe the mandarin fish's feces. If the feces is loose and has yellow at the end, it may be due to enteritis. Finally, you must implement anti-theft measures such as selling it for a profit. (2) Oxygenation: Dissolved oxygen limits production. More oxygen will definitely increase production. At the same time, oxygenation must be known. It is recommended to turn on the aerator more often on rainy days, at night, and on the day when fish are added. For mandarin fish ponds with thin and turbid water, it is not necessary to turn on the aerator during the day on hot and sunny days. (3) Water quality management: Ammonia nitrogen, hydrogen sulfide, nitrite and pH value in the pond need to be tested regularly, and biological agents should be used regularly to regulate water quality. In general, mandarin fish farming is highly profitable, but if you want to earn better income, it is crucial to master scientific farming techniques. The focus is also on providing a good living environment based on the growth habits of mandarin fish. When breeding live crucian carp, you must pay attention to temperature issues and feed issues. Never feed live mandarin fish with low-quality feed. You must also pay attention to water quality issues. Never let live mandarin fish grow in an environment with poor water quality. But I think the most important point is that when breeding live mandarin fish, you must pay attention to safety issues and never let yourself get hurt. When breeding live mandarin fish and improving the quality of the fish water, you should plant more aquatic plants, add some nutrient solution to the water, and feed the fish every once in a while. This will allow for better balance and ensure that the fish live fatter. Pay attention to the choice of pond, so that artificial breeding can be carried out, or the person who understands the breeding method can also change the water source regularly and pay attention to the choice of feed. During the breeding process, you must pay attention to the selection of species. Outdoor breeding is possible. It can be artificially bred or raised outdoors. It is important to choose a high-quality water source, pay attention to the surrounding environment, pay attention to the cultivation of fry, and understand basic breeding techniques. |
