2. Breeding management. 1. Insulation. This species is a tropical fish with strict temperature requirements. The suitable water temperature is 22-32 degrees. In rainy days or when cold air comes, hot water should be added in time to increase the temperature. The depth of the pool should be maintained at ordinary times. Be careful not to increase the temperature too quickly to prevent sudden changes in temperature that are not conducive to the growth of broodstock. When the water temperature is too high, add cold water in time. 2. Water conservation. First, ensure that the water depth is more than 2 meters; second, ensure the water source. Ensure that cold and hot water are supplied in time and in sufficient quantities; third, ensure the water quality, keep the water rich, active, tender, and refreshing, and the transparency is more than 35 cm. The mill should be frequently filled with new water, generally 2 to 3 times a month, and 10 to 20 cm of water should be added each time. The old water should be drained before adding water. In summer, the number of water changes and the amount of water can be appropriately increased. Each culture pool should be equipped with an aerator to facilitate timely oxygenation or emergency treatment. During the wintering period, the insulation cover can be appropriately uncovered in sunny weather to facilitate air circulation and exchange. 3. Food security. First, ensure the nutrition of the food. The feed must be fresh feed with high protein content. Do not feed rotten, spoiled, or nutritionally incomplete feed. Second, ensure the amount of food. This breed has a mixed diet and a large food intake. Pay attention to feeding on demand. Third, ensure the hygiene of the feeding table. Clean the feeding table regularly, remove leftover bait and debris, and hang the basket frequently for disinfection. 4. Disease prevention. Prevention is the main approach for diseases of long-thread bass. Specific preventive measures are: (1) Keep the water temperature above 20 degrees; (2) Disinfect the water regularly with 10-15 kg/mu of quicklime (once a week), or use a 1 ppm bleaching powder solution; (3) Mix sulfonamides with bait for feeding; (4) Adjust the water quality in time, clean the feeding table frequently and disinfect it. Common viruses of long-thread bass include printing disease, red skin disease and anchor crab disease, which can usually be cured by taking the right medicine. Generally, long-thread bass will not develop diseases if good prevention work is done and feeding is appropriate. 5. Prevention. First, weeds around the pond should be removed to prevent livestock from entering the pond; second, staff should be on duty all day during the wintering period to promptly handle potential hazards, pay close attention to rainy, hot and humid weather, and sudden cold weather, and monitor and manage frequently; third, prevent theft. 26℃ is the best. There is no rule on how much to feed. Feed in the morning and evening as much as possible. Small and frequent meals are preferred. 27 degrees. |
