According to the biological characteristics of life and feeding of special species such as river crabs, green shrimps, and breams, the advantages of fish-shrimp-crab polyculture, "mutual benefit and complementary advantages", should be brought into play. The stocking density of river crabs should be appropriately reduced, and the stocking density of high-quality fish and shrimps such as green shrimps and breams should be increased, which can effectively improve the comprehensive output of river crab breeding ponds. This paper describes the efficient ecological polyculture technology of river crabs and fish and shrimps, and also seeks an effective method for polyculture of breams in ponds, including pond conditions, preparation before stocking, seedling stocking, feeding management, water quality management, daily management, disease prevention and control, and fishing and listing, in order to provide a reference for the development of fisheries.

River crabs and green shrimps are traditional specialty aquatic species in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Anhui. They have a huge market and broad prospects. They are also the preferred species for aquaculture. Qingpu District, Shanghai has always been an important aquaculture area in the suburbs of Shanghai. In particular, river crab and green shrimp mixed culture is quite distinctive, forming two main breeding models: river crab-green shrimp and river crab-green shrimp-pond snakehead. The spiny bream, commonly known as stone crucian carp, is mainly distributed in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and its affiliated water bodies. It likes to live on the bottom of the water body and has a mixed diet. Its meat is tender and delicious. It is a rare species in the market and the market is bullish. In order to further improve the ecological breeding of river crab ponds, promote the development of river crab and green shrimp industry, and increase unit output, since 2014, Shanghai Miaoxin Aquatic Products Professional Cooperative has tried to carry out river crab-green shrimp-spiny bream pond mixed culture based on the biological characteristics of river crabs, green shrimps and spiny breams and achieved success, effectively utilizing the water space and increasing breeding benefits. This paper summarizes the breeding technology in order to provide a reference for the development of fisheries.

1 Pond conditions

The area of ​​the aquaculture pond should be 0.33 to 1.00 hm2, with good ventilation and light transmission on all sides, east-west orientation, good water retention, and an effective water depth of 1.8 m. The silt at the bottom of the pond should not be too thick, preferably not exceeding 10 cm [1]. The pond water supply and drainage system should be independent and complete, with the water supply and drainage outlets arranged diagonally and complete aeration facilities.
