CATDOLL: Does the cracked bottom of the sea cucumber ring have any effect on the sea cucumber?

No.

After the sea cucumbers return to the reef in autumn, they are often refloated, the water is changed, and the bottom is modified to thoroughly clean the bottom environment, which is conducive to their growth and will not affect the sea cucumbers.

In the spring, after three consecutive days of north winds on April 7, the ginseng circle found that the sea cucumbers came to the reef quickly. Later, the water temperature suddenly rose from 13℃ to 16℃, and the sea cucumbers became hard as a whole, and their food intake decreased. Low-temperature grasses such as yellow tube vegetables in the circle also grew rapidly, and the ginseng circle began to kill more grass. On April 14, we began to receive feedback from farmers that the sea cucumbers in the circle began to have swollen mouths and vomiting intestines. After the water temperature rises, the volume of the sea cucumber intestine becomes smaller, the intestine becomes thinner, and the food intake gradually decreases. Large environmental changes, muddy water in the circle, drug stimulation, etc. make sea cucumbers lose their appetite and have greater stress. In severe cases, sea cucumbers will vomit yellow intestines due to stress. The low-temperature grass in the circle, mainly composed of yellow tube grass, has entered a period of rapid death. The circles with large amounts of grass or those that have not changed the bottom in time after killing the grass consume a large amount of dissolved oxygen during the grass decay process, especially in areas with thick grass, near reefs, and in deep grooves with a lot of organic matter accumulation, which often causes the bottom to turn black and smelly, and produces toxic substances such as ammonia nitrogen and nitrite, causing sea cucumbers to be poisoned and vomit intestinal skin.
