What should you pay attention to when bathing your cat?

Things to note when bathing your cat:

1. Do not bathe kittens under 3 months old. Kittens have poor resistance and bathing them involves certain risks.

2. Do not bathe your cat when the temperature is too low. It is best to choose a warm and sunny day to bathe your cat. You can bathe your cat more frequently in the summer, but try to avoid bathing your cat in the winter.

3. Do not bathe your cat one week before and after the vaccination. Cats may have adverse reactions to the vaccination, and bathing may reduce their resistance.

4. When bathing a cat, just wipe its head with a wet towel. Because cats' eyes, ears, and noses are all relatively sensitive, water in the ears can easily cause otitis, water in the nose can easily cause choking, and shower gel in the eyes can easily cause conjunctivitis and keratitis in cats.

Tips for bathing your cat:

1. Most cats will not resist too much when taking a bath as long as their fur is wetted slowly, but if the pet owner directly submerges the cat with water, it is likely to cause it to panic.

2. When bathing a cat, you should start from the back and wash the head last, because most cats are very sensitive to their heads and will shake their heads crazily if the head gets a little wet.

3. Be careful when choosing shower gel for bathing your cat. Never use human shower gel. Be sure to choose shower gel specially for pets.

4. After taking a bath, the cat should be quickly dried with a dry towel and combed with a comb. The water on the long-haired cat should be absorbed, and do not rub the hair with a towel to avoid tangling and difficulty in combing.
