CATDOLL : Kitten hoarseness

Kitten hoarseness

Reasons why kittens have hoarse voices:

1. If the kitten is physically and mentally normal, the hoarseness may be caused by not using the vocal cords for a long time.

2. If a kitten has a cold or tracheitis, you must keep it warm. Tracheitis may also cause hoarseness.

3. If a kitten's voice becomes hoarse, it may be because it has been calling for too long. In this case, you can feed it some goat milk to moisten its throat and let it recover after two days.

4. If a kitten gets angry, its voice will become hoarse. Give it water in time or feed it some wet food.

What to do if your kitten is hoarse:

1. If a kitten has a serious cold, its voice will also become hoarse. At this time, you should buy special pet cold medicine for the cat and keep it warm so that the kitten can have a better place to rest.

2. If the kitten's throat is inflamed and hoarse, you can give the kitten more warm water and feed it pet anti-inflammatory drugs such as bezoar. If there is no improvement, take it to the hospital for treatment in time.

3. If the cat's voice becomes hoarse because it has arrived in a new environment and feels insecure and has been calling for a long time, you should give the cat more water and patiently soothe its emotions, and it will basically be fine.

4. If the kitten's stomach is uncomfortable due to cold and indigestion, which causes long-term vomiting and hoarseness, you can add some probiotics to its diet to regulate the gastrointestinal tract, and let it drink more warm water, and it will slowly get better.
