Mantis shrimps are sea shrimps, they are standard marine organisms. They grow in seawater all year round and cannot adapt to freshwater environments, so mantis shrimps are standard sea shrimps. 1. Is mantis shrimp a sea shrimp or a river shrimp? Mantis shrimps are sea shrimps because they all live in the ocean. Mantis shrimps like to live in warm waters, so they are mainly distributed in tropical and subtropical waters, and of course a few live in temperate waters. Mantis shrimps have a relatively strong ability to survive, and their distribution range is also relatively wide. They are distributed in countries such as Russia, Japan, and the Philippines. In addition, they are also distributed in coastal provinces in my country. Mantis shrimps live in seawater all year round and cannot adapt to freshwater life. If they are placed in fresh water, they will generally die if they cannot last too long.

2. How to farm mantis shrimp 1. Farming pond: If you want to farm mantis shrimp on a large scale, you need to prepare a separate breeding pond for them. If conditions permit, you can choose a coastal location to build a breeding pond, so that it will be more convenient to obtain seawater.

2. Environment: Mantis shrimp is a marine organism, and seawater is required for breeding. Natural seawater is the best, but if it is not available, adding sea salt or seawater essence to fresh water is OK. Mantis shrimp likes to live in a warm environment, and the water temperature for breeding should be above 20℃. In addition, they need more oxygen, and the dissolved oxygen content in the water should be maintained at 5 mg/L.

3. Feeding: Mantis shrimps are not picky about food. When breeding, you can feed them some earthworms, bloodworms, animal offal and other foods, so that they can grow faster. You can choose to feed mantis shrimps in the morning and evening, when their appetite is better.
