CATDOLL : CATDOLL: How to keep Dubia cockroaches

It is best to control the temperature between 23-35℃ and the relative humidity between 60-75%. A certain amount of breeding space is needed, and egg packaging paper can be used for breeding. The food should preferably be high in protein. Fruits and vegetables, such as pears and oranges, should be provided 2-3 times a week. The fruits and vegetables must be thoroughly cleaned before feeding.

The temperature of the breeding environment plays an important role in the survival of Dubia cockroaches. If the temperature is low, the metabolism of Dubia cockroaches will decrease, and they will even freeze to death if the temperature is below 5 degrees Celsius. If the temperature is too high, their food intake will decrease or even stop.

The Dubia cockroach is one of the larger insects in the order Falcaria. The adult body length is generally 35-40mm. It has a certain flying ability, but its climbing ability is extremely weak.

Dubia cockroaches are nocturnal and very active at night, but since they cannot crawl across any smooth surfaces like other cockroaches, there is no need to worry about them running away.
