Can dace be kept in a fish tank? How to keep it?

Can dace be kept in a fish tank? Dace is one of the fish species living in southern my country and can be artificially bred. However, their breeding is generally carried out on a large scale, that is, they need to be bred in breeding ponds. Some people also breed them in fish tanks, but it is not common. This is because dace is not a special ornamental fish, and its color is not bright. It is not common to keep it in a fish tank as an ornamental fish. More people still keep it in a breeding pond. 1. Can dace be kept in a fish tank? Dace is one of the many fish species living in my country. It is relatively common in the south, but not in the north. They have certain economic value, so it is also common to breed them artificially. Breeding ponds are generally used when breeding them, because the number of dace raised by breeders is generally large. Because they have high requirements for water temperature, they are generally artificially bred in the south, and they basically cannot naturally overwinter in the north.

In addition, some people also raise dace in fish tanks. However, dace is not a special ornamental fish, and its ornamental value is not particularly high, and its color is not bright, so it is basically not raised in fish tanks as a farmed fish. In general, although it is possible to raise them in fish tanks, this behavior is not particularly common.

2. How to raise dace 1. Container: As mentioned above, dace can be raised in a breeding pond or a fish tank. If it is raised on a large scale, a breeding pond is needed, the area is generally about 6 mu, and a layer of silt needs to be made at the bottom. If it is raised in a fish tank, water plants and other green plants can be planted in the fish tank.

2. Water temperature: Dace fish have relatively high requirements for water temperature, so whether it is cultivated in a breeding pond or in a fish tank, the water temperature needs to be controlled. Generally speaking, it is more appropriate to keep it between 15-30 degrees, and it must not be too low.

3. Food: Mud carp is an omnivorous fish and is not picky about food. It can be fed with animals or plants. If you breed dace in a large area, you can put some soybean milk or vegetable cakes in the breeding pond as food for the dace. If you breed them in a fish tank, you can choose a variety of animals and plants.

4. Disease prevention: In general, the resistance of dace is relatively strong and it is not easy to get sick. However, there is a relatively common disease called "bubble disease", so it needs to be prevented and treated regularly. Water quality is a relatively important aspect. The water quality needs to be kept clean all the time and the water needs to be changed regularly.

The breeding technology of wheat dace and where is it suitable for breeding

1. Pond: The area of the pond is 2-15 mu, the depth of the pond is more than 1.5m and there is abundant water around it. 2. Stocking fish fry: Stock the neatly sized and strong mullet and silver carp per mu, 6000-7000 per mu, and add 10-20 large-sized silver carp per mu. Carnivorous and ferocious fish should not be in the pond. 3. Daily management: Ensure the cleanliness of the water quality and apply fertilizer reasonably to improve the water quality. You can feed artificial compound feed at ordinary times.

1. Breeding technology of wheat dace

1. Pond

The prepared area is 2-15 mu, the pond depth is more than 1.5m, and there must be sufficient water source around it.

2. Stocking fish fry

(1) From late May to early June, 6,000 to 7,000 silver carp of uniform size and strong physique should be stocked per acre, and at the same time, 10 to 20 large-sized silver carp fingerlings should be stocked per acre.

(2) After the release, no other fish with the same or similar diet as the black carp will be released. In addition, carnivorous and ferocious fish, such as the black snakehead, should not be allowed in the pond.

3. Daily management of mausoleum inspection

(1) Cultivate water quality: It is necessary to apply fertilizer reasonably to improve the water quality. At the same time, you should also pay attention to whether the water quality is clean. If the water quality is too poor, it is easy for the wheat bream to be infected with parasites.

(2) Feeding: Based on the “four determinations” principle, artificial compound feed can be fed and the feeding amount can be adjusted reasonably according to the feeding status of the fish, weather conditions and other conditions.

(3) Disease prevention and treatment: Use drugs rationally to prevent parasites. For example, wheelworms can generally be treated with wheelworms, while ringworms can generally be treated with mebendazole.

(4) Reasonable use of aerators: At night, the aerator needs to be turned on 1-2 hours before the wheat ling floats to the surface. If the aerator is turned on after the wheat ling floats to the surface, it will usually affect its growth rate in the long run. If insecticide disinfection is required, or when encountering abnormal weather such as heavy rain or typhoon, the aerator can generally be turned on all night.

2. Where is the best place to breed wheat dace?

1. Generally, wheat ling can be raised in Hainan, Fujian, Yunnan and other places. The full name of wheat ling is Mai Ruijia Laling. Its appearance is similar to grass carp. It has a long and nearly cylindrical body, a round and straight abdomen, a slightly raised dorsal fin, and a wide and deeply forked tail fin.

2. The wheat carp likes running water, is good at jumping, and has relatively strong adaptability. It can usually grow normally in reservoirs, lakes, ponds, rivers and other places. Its cold resistance is stronger than that of the earth carp. When the water temperature drops to 7℃, it can generally still move normally.

3. Wheat ling is an omnivorous fish. It often feeds on phytoplankton, higher plants, organic debris, wheat bran, corn flour, peanut bran and other foods. Moreover, the growth rate of wheat ling is faster than that of native ling. The fry bred in the same year can generally grow to more than 300g.
