According to experts, this is the northernmost ancient banyan forest in the world. Longting Waterfall: Located 400 meters south of the ancient temple Guanyin Pavilion in Longting Village. The waterfall has a drop of 136 meters. Below the waterfall is a huge rock that can accommodate 200 people to watch the waterfall. Below the huge rock is a 10-meter square dragon pool. Looking up at the waterfall, it is like a white silk hanging in the air, with mist floating, overwhelming momentum and cool breeze. There are dozens of rock landscapes around the waterfall, such as the "General Seal" and the writing brush holder, which are tens of meters high. Xikou Waterfall: Located downstream of the source of Sangyuan Cuihu Lake, it has a drop of 60 meters, with a rapid drop, water vapor and colorful rainbows. Below the waterfall, the two sides of the canyon are covered with water-eroded rocks of various shapes and forms, with mist floating and appearing from time to time, just like the underwater world in mythology.

Carp Brook is located in Puyuan Village, 5 kilometers west of Zhouning County. Carp Brook originates from the foothills of Ziyun Mountain, 1,448 meters above sea level. It gathers dozens of mountain streams and springs and rushes down. The water turns around the peaks and slows down at the entrance of Puyuan Village. It flows slowly through the village in five bends and six curves. The stream runs through the village, one li long and several meters wide. There are seven or eight thousand colorful big carps swimming leisurely in the stream. They "come when they hear human voices and gather when they see human figures" and "fight for food with colorful scales flying". They are docile and docile, just like "divine fish". In the stream that is more than 500 meters long and only a few meters wide, thousands of carps swim leisurely. According to local historical records, the ancestors set rules to raise carps in the stream and also formulated clan rules that strictly prohibited fishing and harming carps. The villagers strictly abided by the clan rules and passed them down from generation to generation, forming such a beautiful Liyuxi today. The carp in the stream are very close to people. When they hear human voices or see human figures, they will come closer and shake their heads and tails. If you throw food into the stream, the carp will jump in joy and compete for food. If you touch the fish with your hands, the fish will let you touch it very tamely.

In addition to the Carp Stream in Puyuan Village, there is also a Carp Stream in Hexi Village, Chunchi Township. However, the Hexi carp there are different from the Puyuan carp. Puyuan carp are close to people, while Hexi carp rarely swim in groups. But if you knock something by the stream, the Hexi carp will quickly gather from all over after hearing the sound. The more urgent the knock, the faster they gather. From time to time, they will "leap over the dragon gate", which is a spectacle. Therefore, people also call this fish "listening fish".

Puyuan Liyuxi is not only famous for its magical koi, but also has a quiet and elegant village with well-preserved scenic spots and historical sites. The houses on both sides of the creek are blue-tiled and white-walled, full of the architectural features of Ming and Qing water villages. In the lower reaches of the creek is the Liyuxi Park, which was newly built in 1986 and covers an area of ​​nearly 5 mu. The shallow pond is clear and blue. The statue of the Carp Fairy, the pavilions, waterside bridges, and carp fountains in the park are all worth seeing.

Liyuxi is located in Puyuan Village, Zhouning County, Fujian Province. It is said that in the Song Dynasty more than 700 years ago, in order to purify the water source, people raised carp in the creek and formulated clan rules prohibiting the fishing and harming of carp. The villagers also strictly abided by the clan rules and passed them down from generation to generation. Since then, protecting carp has become the local folk custom. People not only do not catch live carp for food, but also bury the dead carp instead of eating them, making the creek a rare carp nature reserve in the world.
