CATDOLL: Can squid be farmed in fresh water?

Squid cannot be farmed in fresh water, even if you add salt to the fresh water yourself.

So far, no freshwater squid or squid-like creatures have been found. In Fujian, some people raise squids by releasing them into rafts, but I don't know if anyone has domesticated squids into freshwater squids. If you have any information on this, please let me know.

I have never heard that seawater squid can be raised in fresh water.

Cannot be farmed in freshwater

Freshwater squid has not yet been successfully domesticated
