CATDOLL: How to process poultry manure to feed fly maggots

1. How to process poultry manure to raise maggots

Use EM bacteria, mix the feces (chicken feces about three days old, pig feces on the same day is best) to 100% water content and use it together with EM bacteria. Then ferment it in the pool for a week! Stir it once in the middle, and then you can use it to collect eggs!

2. Can dry chicken manure be used to raise maggots after fermentation?

Yes, I use the Junyikan organic fertilizer fermentation agent, which is very effective for raising maggots after fermentation.

3. What to do if chicken manure has maggots

You can go to the local veterinary station and ask. There is a medicine that is mixed into the chicken feed. I don't know the specific name. The chicken manure will not have maggots. Most farmers here give chickens this medicine at this season.

4. What should I do if maggots grow on chicken manure when growing vegetables?

Don't worry about it, the maggots will turn into pupae and flies and fly away. They will not continue to breed maggots here, and it will not affect the vegetables you grow. Once the pesticide is used, the vegetables are no longer green vegetables.

5. Is it okay to raise fly maggots in chicken manure and sheep manure?

Both are fine and quite good. If it is not fresh feces, it needs to be fermented and adjusted. Before fermentation, add some grass powder, vegetable roots, dead branches and leaves, and crushed straw to loosen the structure of the feces and improve the utilization rate.
