What is Nectar Pollen?

Nectar plants are plants for bees to collect nectar and pollen, and nectar pollen is the pollen of plants for bees to collect nectar and pollen.

Nectar plant A plant from which bees gather nectar and pollen. The material basis of beekeeping. It refers to all flowering plants that have a fragrant smell or produce nectar to attract bees. This name is most often used to refer to two plants in the Capparaceae family: yellow nectar plant (Cleome lutea) and mountain nectar plant (C. serrulata), the latter of which is also called stinking clove and was often cultivated next to bee farms. Some trees (such as the lime tree) are often called nectar trees because they have particularly fragrant flowers that bees build their nests in (so that they can get nectar nearby).

The partnership between bees and flowers

Bees rely on pollen and nectar for food, and flowers rely on the hairs on the bees' bodies to spread pollen.

The two are interdependent.

For insect-pollinated plants, bees help flowers spread pollen when collecting nectar, and flowers provide nectar in return.
