2. What is silkworm fungus?

Silkworm fungus is a kind of insect fungus. There are four common types of silkworm fungus: Beauveria bassiana, Flavus bassiana, Metarhizium bassiana and Aspergillus niger.

1. Vitiligo: The disease develops quickly (3 to 7 days). In the late stage of the disease, the patient's movements become sluggish. When dying, the head and chest are stretched out, and the patient vomits a little water. The body gradually turns from soft to hard.

2. Yellow muscardine: The symptoms are similar to those of white muscardine disease, but the difference is that large dark brown round spots appear on the silkworm's body. After the hyphae cover the whole body and grow spores, the silkworm turns light yellow.
