1. How to predict and rescue fish from "floating"?In the process of fish farming, when the water temperature is above 20°C, fish often float due to lack of oxygen. In serious cases, a large number of fish in the pond will die, which is called pond flooding, causing losses to production. Therefore, how to predict and prevent floating, especially pond flooding, has become a very important issue in breeding management. Prediction of floating heads: ① If the air pressure is low for several consecutive days, the relative humidity is high, there is a feeling of stuffiness, and the ground is still damp, the speed at which the oxygen in the atmosphere dissolves into the pool water may slow down, or the pool water temperature may be low and high after a thunderstorm, the decomposition of organic matter may intensify, and the oxygen consumption may increase sharply. In this case, the fish will float in the middle of the night or at dawn. ② If it is continuous rainy or foggy, the light time is short, the light during the day is poor, and the oxygen released by the photosynthesis of phytoplankton is not enough to maintain the breathing needs of fish and bait organisms at night, which will also produce hypoxic floating heads. If conditions permit, measure the dissolved oxygen in the water at 4 to 5 pm. If it is 1 to 2 mg per liter, it indicates the possibility of floating heads. ③ The fish is not sick, but the amount of food eaten suddenly decreases. At this time, the dissolved oxygen in the water is not low, which will indicate that there will be floating heads in the next few days. New water should be injected or changed in advance, or other effective methods to improve water quality should be taken. _ In normal weather, light floating heads that occur infrequently are generally not paid attention to in production. But serious floating should be avoided as much as possible. So, how to judge the severity of floating? According to practical experience, it is generally believed that: wild fish, silver carp, bighead carp, and bream have light floating heads, while carp, crucian carp, and grass carp have heavy floating heads; fish have light floating heads in the center of the pond, and heavy floating heads at the bank of the pond; floating heads occur after dawn and do not last long, which is light, while floating heads before dawn or even in the middle of the night are heavy; when floating heads, fish keep their normal body color, which is light, while those with pale yellow or grayish white color are heavy; fish react quickly when startled, which is light, while those with slow or no reaction are heavy. _ When signs of serious floating heads are predicted, the amount of feed should be reduced in time, and methods such as injecting new water should be adopted to prevent floating heads from occurring. In case of serious floating heads, water should be injected quickly to increase oxygen, and the aerator should be turned on, or the fish should be taken out and placed in a pond with high oxygen content. 2. Why is silver carp a floating head? Most of the reasons are because of insufficient oxygen in the water. Consider using an aerator to increase oxygen. Is the water clear? If the water is fertile, then it should be parasites. I saw an article in the magazine of scientific fish breeding before. I don't know if it is true. The name of the article is Diagnosis and prevention of trichodinasis in silver carp 3. Causes of death of silver carp with white bodyIf you see silver carp floating to the surface before dying, it proves that it is due to lack of oxygen. This may also happen if the water quality at the bottom of the pond deteriorates. 4. Can the fish float to the surface in the early morning of summer just by relying on the oxygenator?OK, once the silver carp floats to the surface, it means there is a lack of oxygen in the water. Turn it on immediately when you find it, but you must pay attention to power matching. One standard impeller aerator should be used for every acre of water surface! |
