1. Fish pond requirements Bamboo shoots can be raised in ordinary fish ponds where the four major carps are raised. In the early stage of breeding, the fish species are relatively small, and the water depth of the fish pond is kept at about 1.2 meters for good growth. As the fish species grow and the water temperature rises, the water depth is gradually increased to 1.5-1.8 meters, which is conducive to promoting the growth of the fish species. Generally, the water depth of the fish pond is kept at 1.5-1.8 meters, and the area is 3-5 mu. Because the pond is a place where aquatic animals live and a place where pathogens breed, wild fish and shrimp in the fish pond may carry pathogens and easily cause cross infection, so the fish pond should be cleaned frequently. 2. Water quality requirements The water transparency of bamboo fish farming should be kept at 25-30 cm. High transparency will slow down the growth and cause mutual killing, so the transparency does not need to be too high. The pH value should be kept at 6-7. Too high pH value will cause the mucus on the body surface to fall off and cause death. Slightly acidic water is beneficial to improve the survival rate of bamboo fish and promote growth. 3. Fish fry stocking 10 days before stocking, add 20-30 cm of water backfill and sprinkle quicklime all over the pond to kill the miscellaneous fish and parasites in the pond. Under normal circumstances, the survival rate of stocking is about 60%-80%. Therefore, the stocking quantity is generally large, with a size of 3-5 cm and a stocking quantity of 4000-4500 per mu; with a size of 5-7 cm, a stocking quantity of 3500-4000 per mu is appropriate; with a size of more than 7 cm, a stocking quantity of 3000-3500 per mu is appropriate. Purchasing locally bred fry has a higher survival rate and relatively lower risk. 4. Feeding Bamboo shoots can be fed with fresh fish, live baits such as bloodworms and dace "splashes". Before the bamboo shoot fry are 12 cm long, feeding them with sufficient and palatable live baits will help promote their growth and improve their survival rate. One week before releasing bamboo shoot fry, release 10 million to 20 million dace or wheat dace "splashes" first, so that there will be a large number of palatable feed fish for bamboo shoot fry to eat after they are released into the pond. 5. Prevention and control of common diseases: Surface diseases: Because bamboo shoots rub against each other when they are caught, the surface operation is not easy to detect and causes disease. You can soak them in 20 mg/h potassium manganate solution for 1 hour to disinfect the wound, and spray the whole pond with aquatic disinfectants for disinfection. Saprolegniasis: This disease often occurs during the seedling cultivation period, the wintering period of fish and broodstock. During the seedling cultivation period, be careful to avoid damage to the fish body; during the wintering period, build a heat preservation shed, it is best to heat it and maintain the water temperature above 17°C. For fish ponds that have been infected, spray the whole pond with methylene blue to make the pond water concentration of 0.2 g/m3, and spray it again every 2 days. Parasitic diseases: bamboo shoots are not sensitive to parasites, and a small amount of parasites will not have much impact on them, but if the parasites multiply in large numbers, they will cause bacterial diseases. Bamboo shoots have strong resistance to drug toxicity, and all kinds of commonly used aquatic insecticides can be used, 0.5 catties/mu of trichlorfon, mixed with a part of copper sulfate for insecticide. 6. Notes PVC pipes, tires, etc. must not be installed in cages or ponds. Since bamboo shoots are bottom-dwelling burrowing fish, fish nests are very likely to cause gathering and killing, reducing production. It is necessary to prevent tadpoles and frogs from jumping into the pond, otherwise they will eat a large number of bamboo shoot fry. It is recommended to sieve about 20cm around the pond, set up cages to catch frogs, and use sieves to trap tadpoles. During the breeding process, pond division or fishing operations must be meticulous to prevent and control damage to bamboo shoots. Bamboo fish can breathe oxygen in the air and have a strong tolerance to hypoxia. They rarely die from lack of oxygen, but turning on the aerator appropriately to maintain sufficient dissolved oxygen is beneficial to promoting their growth. Bamboo fish will have a strong stress response to sudden changes in the environment, and may even die. Maintaining good water quality and keeping the pond water environment relatively stable are important for promoting the growth of bamboo fish and improving their survival rate. |
