CATDOLL: What procedures and certificates are required for fly maggot breeding? (What procedures and certificates are required for fly maggot breeding?)

1. Does maggot farming require approval?

Maggot farming requires approval and certification

2. What procedures are required for breeding maggots?

No formalities are required. However, fly breeding has a strong odor and should not be carried out in densely populated areas of the village. At the same time, it is necessary to prevent flies from escaping. From a practical point of view, flies often escape in large numbers after breeding, causing serious infestation to surrounding residents. At the same time, the breeding area itself is also seriously polluted. To prevent flies from escaping, plastic screen window material closure and double door isolation can generally be used to achieve the purpose.

3. What is the simplest way to raise maggots?

The easiest way to raise maggots

1. Prepare training tools

Generally, you can prepare household plastic pots, plastic buckets and other containers as cultivation tools. The walls must be relatively smooth and the depth of the pot must be greater than 25 cm.

2. Select the egg-sucking object

(1) Prepare materials

If there is fresh chicken manure, you can directly use it as an egg-sucking material to collect fly eggs.

(2) Methods

①Put fresh chicken manure in a basin. If the chicken manure is too dry, sprinkle a little water on it. Place it in a place with many flies in the wild. It should be placed in a cool place as much as possible. If the sunlight is too strong, use shade to provide shade.

② Generally, flies will gather and lay eggs immediately after putting them in. When the egg-sucking objects are taken back every afternoon, you can see clumps of fly eggs on the surface of the chicken manure. You should immediately cover them with corn flour or wheat bran mixed with water to ensure that the egg masses have a certain humidity. You can see many small maggots the next day, and they can be raised in separate pots.

(3) Feeding methods

① First, spread about 3-5 cm thick wheat bran or corn flour mixed with water in the basin, and then place the hatched maggots together with the egg-sucking material on the wheat bran or corn flour. After eating the egg-sucking material, the small maggots will quickly drill into the feed below. Under normal circumstances, they can grow into large maggots in 3 days.

② The powder used for raising maggots can be fermented or used directly. If rice bran is used to raise maggots, it must be fermented, and the rice bran must be of good quality. "Rice bran" that is entirely rice husks will not be effective in raising maggots.

③ The yield of fly maggots can be increased through fermentation. Generally, 1 catties of wheat bran can produce about 0.5 catties of maggots, and 1 catties of corn flour can produce 0.4 catties of maggots. By adding waste such as pig blood, the yield can be increased by about 1 times.

④ After mixing with water, the powder will easily heat up, so the thickness of the powder in the pot should not be too thick to prevent the maggots from being killed by heat. The maggot breeding pot should be placed in a place with a higher temperature (25-30 ℃) but slightly dim light.

3. Cage management of flies

The fly egg masses collected by this method will not only not increase the number of wild flies, but also gradually reduce the number of flies in the wild after long-term use. However, in some densely populated areas, in order to avoid causing people's disgust, especially if you want to use red-headed flies for breeding, you can choose to raise the flies in cages.

4. Method for separating fly maggots

(1) Separation of large and small pots

Place a smaller plastic basin inside a larger basin, wet the four walls of the small basin with a damp cloth, pour the maggots and feed into the small basin to a thickness of about 2 cm, and the maggots will crawl along the basin wall into the large basin.

(2) Photo separation method

Place a sieve with holes large enough for maggots to drill through on a plastic basin, add water to wet the maggot material and pour it into the sieve. The thickness should not exceed 2 cm. Place it in the sun. Since maggots are afraid of light, they will try their best to drill down and fall into the basin below.

(3) If there is a maggot breeding room, the wastewater can be poured into the maggot breeding pool and allowed to separate automatically.

2. Are there any procedures required for raising maggots?

1. Are there any formalities required to raise maggots?

Raising maggots generally does not require any procedures.

2. Artificial breeding methods of fly maggots

(1) Fly-attracting and maggot-breeding method

In summer, flies have strong reproductive capacity. You can choose a sunny place outdoors or in the courtyard, dig a small pit with a depth of 0.5 meters, a length and a width of 1 meter, build it with bricks, and then smooth it with cement. Use wooden boards or prefabricated cement boards as the upper cover, install light-transmitting windows, and seal the windows with glass or transparent plastic cloth. Then open a small opening 17 cm long and 7 cm wide, and place small animal corpses or human and animal feces in the pool to lure flies to enter and lay maggots. It should be noted that flies cannot be allowed to fly out. Fresh feces are the best feed for flies. In about 10 days, each pool can produce about 6 kg of maggots, which are not only large but also fat, and can be fed to eels.

(2) Soil pile maggot breeding method

This method is to mix garbage, alcohol, turf, chicken feathers, etc. into a paste, pile it into a small mound, and seal it with mud. After about 10 days, a large number of maggots will be produced. It is simple and easy.

(3) Tofu dregs maggot breeding method

Put 25 kg of tofu dregs and dishwashing water into a tank and mix well. After 3-5 days, a large number of maggots will naturally breed in the tank. Take out the maggots and mix them into the feed to feed the eels. At the same time, you can also ferment the tofu dregs, put them into the pit, add some rice washing water, stir and seal the pit. After about 5-7 days, a large number of fly maggots will also be produced.

(4) Cow dung maggot breeding method

Mix the dried and crushed cow dung with rice bran, pile it into small piles with sludge, and cover it with straw mats. After about 10 days, a large number of small maggots will grow. Turn over the soil pile, gently separate the maggots, and then pile the raw materials. After a few days, many fly maggots will be produced again.

4. What procedures are required for the breeding industry?

The following procedures are required:

1. Land procedures

It is necessary to go through the registration procedures for the land used for production facilities and sign a land use agreement to be registered with the Land and Resources Bureau and the Agriculture Bureau. The site selection of the breeding farm also needs to be approved by the Planning Bureau.

2. Environmental impact assessment (EIA procedures)

The entire process from site selection to the final operation of the farm needs to be identified and analyzed through environmental impact assessment, and supporting pollution prevention and control facilities need to be built. Environmental impact assessment procedures need to be handled at the Environmental Protection Bureau.

3. Pollutant Discharge Permit

Article 10 of the "Management Measures for the Prevention and Control of Pollution from Livestock and Poultry Breeding" stipulates that in areas where total pollutant emission control is implemented in accordance with the law, livestock and poultry farms must obtain a "Pollution Discharge Permit" as required and discharge pollutants in accordance with the provisions of the "Pollution Discharge Permit".

4. Animal epidemic prevention conditions certificate

According to the Animal Epidemic Prevention Law, it is necessary to apply for an Animal Epidemic Prevention Certificate. The Animal Epidemic Prevention Certificate must be obtained from the Animal Husbandry Bureau. Without this certificate, you cannot engage in breeding. After the certificate is approved, breeders engaged in general livestock and poultry breeding can go to the Industrial and Commercial Bureau to apply for a business license, and then go to the Animal Husbandry Bureau to complete the registration and filing procedures to start their own breeding journey.

5. Breeding certificate

The "Aquaculture Certificate" is a certificate required by the state for farmers engaged in marine aquaculture and inland water aquaculture. Entities and individuals engaged in aquaculture production activities in marine and inland waters must obtain the "Aquaculture Certificate" in accordance with the law.

6. Wildlife domestication and breeding license

To domesticate and breed wild animals, you need to apply for a "National Key Protected Wildlife Domestication and Breeding Permit". For example, more and more people who raise wild animals such as peacocks and wild boars need to apply for this.

7. Handle business registration

After obtaining the above-mentioned documents, the breeder can go to the Industrial and Commercial Bureau to apply for industrial and commercial registration and apply for a business license.

8. Registration procedures

After obtaining a business license, the breeder needs to go to the Animal Husbandry Bureau to go through the registration procedures for the breeding farm.
