CATDOLL: What will happen if crabs lack oxygen?

What happens when crabs lack oxygen?

What will happen to crabs when they lack oxygen? They die. There is no other possibility.

What should we do if crabs die from high temperature and lack of oxygen in summer? Is it the responsibility of the drug seller or the farmer himself?

1. Reduce physiological hypoxia

Black gills and rotten gills are mainly caused by bacterial infection, so disinfection is what we need to do. For example, use iodine preparations ("super iodine", "gold iodine", etc.), glutaraldehyde ("bacteria and virus bacterium", etc.) for disinfection. When the gills are dirty, you can treat them by improving the bottom and water environment, such as using bottom modification products ("full-effect bottom modification", "strong bottom cleaning", etc.), water conditioning products ("vitality benefit water", "gold benefit bacteria", etc.). When there are many toxic and harmful substances in the water, you can use detoxification products such as "Water Doctor" and "Detoxification Spirit" for detoxification.

2. Increase the source of oxygen

1) Maintain the vitality of aquatic plants: Use grass fertilizer ("Crab Grass Fertilizer", "Crab Grass Fertilizer Type B", "Grass Protector", etc.) regularly (e.g. every 10-15 days)

2) Regulate algae phase: Blue algae are prone to outbreaks during high temperatures, and every effort should be made to prevent the occurrence of blue algae. Blue algae are prone to occur under high temperatures, high pH values, low carbon sources, and lack of bacteria. Therefore, it is recommended to use "live fertilizer" to regularly cultivate diatoms according to water quality conditions, and "Golden Probiotics Type B" to regulate the bacterial phase, so that bacteria can protect algae and achieve a balance between bacteria and algae.

3) Use oxidative bottom modification or chemical oxygenators: Oxidative bottom modification products with oxygenating effect, such as "full-effect bottom modification", "strong bottom cleaning", "atomic oxygen", "granular oxygen" and other oxygenators.

4) Use mechanical oxygenation equipment such as aerators

5) Replace with external water with higher dissolved oxygen: If the pond water quality is poor but the external water is better, you can add appropriate amount of water, or use aerated deep well water.
