CATDOLL: How much does silk cost per kilogram now? (How much does silk cost per kilogram now?)

1. Is the silk that costs 30 yuan per pound real silk?

30 yuan per kilogram is definitely not real silk. The price of pure mulberry silk is generally about 500 yuan per kilogram, while the price of high-quality mulberry silk is about 1,000 yuan per kilogram.

If a manufacturer wants to make a 100% mulberry silk quilt weighing about 2 kilograms, the price of the finished product must be more than 2,000 yuan, including the price of the silk, the quilt cover, labor costs, packaging costs, etc. After passing through distributors and stores, the price will definitely double.

2. What is the market price of silk?

The general price of silk is more than 200 yuan per catty, and the price of machine-made mulberry silk is 130 to 150 yuan per catty.

Mulberry silk is divided into three types: short silk, medium silk, and long silk. 100% mulberry long silk is also divided into first-grade and special-grade products. The prices vary greatly. The market price of special-grade selected duplex silk smooth tire is about 220 yuan, the market price of special-grade long silk smooth tire is about 170 yuan, the market price of special-grade machine-made mulberry silk bare liner is about 125 yuan, and the price of ordinary mulberry silk quilt liner is about 110 yuan.

3. Is silk that costs 300 yuan per pound good silk?

Answer: It is not good silk

Tussah silk is soft and elastic. It has good heat resistance, and sericin is layered and attached to the outer surface of the silk fibroin. The strength begins to weaken when the temperature reaches 140°C. It also has strong moisture resistance, accounting for about 85%; sericin is light brown, and under wet conditions, the strength can increase by 4%. The insulation, strength, elongation, embrittlement resistance, acid and alkali resistance are better than mulberry silk. However, the fabric shrinkage rate is large. Raw silk is not easy to dye.
