CATDOLL: How to keep horned frogs in winter

1. How to raise horned frogs in winter

Basic misunderstandings of horned frogs by newbies:

1. Horned frogs like water and humidity

2. Horned frogs like to eat, so you can feed them at any time.

3. Mealworms and barley worms are the favorites of horned frogs

In fact, horned frogs do not like very humid places. In their native habitat, horned frogs hide in slightly moist fallen leaves. Therefore, novices should change their view that "frogs just like water" and absolutely cannot keep them in water only.

This is my breeding environment, a small shelter + a completely dry sponge + a vinegar dish, the water in the dish is changed every 2 days. Now this frog is 5CM, the box used is a large plastic breeding box 27-17-14, I absolutely do not have other unnecessary decorations in it, such as flowers, pebbles. For beginners, the breeding method of sphagnum moss or coconut soil is not suitable, so I will not consider it for the time being.

Let's talk about food

You absolutely cannot feed mealworms and barley worms to Dubia bream. You cannot feed Dubia bream to frogs that are too small. The South American green frog above is too small. Feeding Dubia bream to Dubia bream will cause enteritis.

I have fed suckling mice, cornworms, and feed fish, but because feed fish have parasites and medicine, everyone should be careful when feeding them. Cornworms are good things, very soft and nutritious. They are sold on Taobao, and there are dozens of them for less than 10 yuan.

Some breeding experience:

1. You can let the frog swim for about a week. You can put a little BAC in the warm water to promote digestion.

2. Beginners should not be too greedy to watch it every day, watch it all the time, or even play with it every day.

3. Don’t rush to feed your baby after you get home. Let him rest for 3 days before feeding him.

4. Horned frogs shed their skin very quickly, so never use tweezers to tear off the skin manually.

5. The water used for horned frogs must be purified water, mineral water, or cold boiled water. Tap water is not allowed.

6. For frogs under 6 cm, feed them once a week, with food that is 1/3 of the size of the frog. For frogs over 6 cm, feed them once every 10 days, with food that is half the size of the frog. (This is my personal feeding method, please don't criticize me if you disagree)

7. No sunbathing allowed

Winter heating:

Horned frogs will become less active when the temperature is below 20 degrees, and may hibernate if the temperature drops further. However, the mortality rate of hibernating horned frogs is very high. Often, after hibernation, when you dig them out, they have turned into zombies. In winter, I use a foam box + a 7-watt heating pad + a 20-watt heating pad + a temperature controller. The 7-watt pad is under the breeding box, and the 20-watt pad is on the side and plugged into the temperature controller. As long as the temperature of the 7-watt pad is insufficient, the 20-watt pad will immediately make up for it. If the temperature is too high, it will automatically cut off the power. Last year, the lowest winter in Nanjing was -7 degrees, and the temperature in the breeding box was above 28 degrees.

2. How to feed a small frog (1.5 cm)?

This little frog doesn't need to be fed. It will find some microorganisms in the fish tank to eat. You don't have to worry about it starving to death...

3. What is the best way to feed the snail in the Travel Frog mobile game? A list of ways to feed the snail

What should I feed the snail in the mobile game Travel Frog? In the mobile game Travel Frog, after the little frog goes out, the little frog's partner snail will come to find the little frog. Many players want to know what is the best way to entertain the little frog. Today, the editor will bring you a detailed interpretation of the feeding method of the snail in the mobile game Travel Frog. Let's take a look. Snail feeding method at a glance: 1. When the snail comes, there will be an envelope in the mailbox. Click it and then click Accept. 2. The snail appears, and then click on the snail, and some Yipin interfaces will appear. It is what the frog brought back from the trip. 3. Choose one at random and feed it 4. After feeding the snail, a prompt will pop up, which means that it is full. 5. If the feeding is what the snail likes, it will also prompt that this is what the snail likes to eat. When the snail is full and leaves, a thank-you gift will be left in the mailbox. It may be a four-leaf clover, a three-leaf clover, a lottery ticket, etc. There are four kinds of prompts when friends send gifts, which roughly mean very happy, seem very happy, already full, and can't eat anymore. Snails have some things they like and don't like to eat. I don't know what some of them are, anyway, just look at the pictures

4. Do pets in drifting bottles need to be fed? What is the difference between feeding and not feeding?

Unlike QQ pets, which cannot be eaten without food, the food here is functional. It is harmless if you don't eat it.

Anyway, if you don't feed it, the pet won't die...

It's like rice has different functions. It's like pets can grow bigger or smaller.

5. How to feed your pet

Correct the above statement, it is not put on the F1 key, but on the first position of the pet column ~ that position is Shift+F1 (PS: first you have to put the pet food on the pet before you can put it on the pet equipment bar)

If you have a super support, there is an automatic pet feeding option in the super support. You can also check that box and then it will automatically feed the pet! !

Put the food on F1 and press Shift+F1 to feed manually.

The 180 version of Hot-Blooded Super Assistant has an automatic pet feeding function, which can be checked in the hang-up options.

If you don't have any super auxiliary, you can download it from my share.
