CATDOLL: How much can black carp grow in a year? How to breed black carp

How much can black carp grow in a year? How to breed black carp?

1. Black carp can usually gain about 3-5 jin in weight and about 20 cm in length in a year, and some individuals can even reach about 30 cm. 2. Black carp cannot gain weight and grow regularly in every period. The first three years are generally the period when their growth rate and size increase faster and their growth is more vigorous. Although their size will continue to increase, the increase rate is relatively slow. 3. The living environment of black carp will affect their growth rate. If the water quality and water temperature are more suitable and the food is more sufficient, the growth rate will be faster. If the living environment is polluted, the black carp will be stunted and grow slowly.

1. How much weight can black carp grow in a year?

1. Growth rate of black carp

(1) Generally speaking, black carp can gain about 3-5 catties in weight and about 20 cm in length in a year. Some individuals can even reach about 30 cm in length.

(2) Black carp does not gain weight and grow at a constant rate in every stage. The first three years of farming are usually the period when they grow fastest, have more vigorous growth, and increase in size more rapidly. After that, although their size will continue to increase, the rate of increase is relatively slow.

(3) The growth rate of black carp is related to its living environment. When the water quality and temperature are suitable and food is sufficient, the black carp grows faster and can gain several kilograms in a year. If the living environment is polluted, the black carp will be underdeveloped and grow more slowly.

2. Common weight of black carp

(1) The weight of black carp of 2-3 winter years old can generally reach about 6-10 jin. The black carp commonly seen in the market are larger in size, weighing about 30-40 jin.

(2) Yangtze River black carp first matures at 3-6 years old (most mature at 4-5 years old). Males mature 1-2 years earlier. When mature, the individual is about 90 cm long and weighs about 11 kg. When mature, females are about 1 meter long and weigh about 15 kg.

(3) For Jiangxi Hukou black carp, the fastest growth period is from 1 to 4 years old. After entering the 5-6 years old, the average weight gain can exceed 3.7 kg/year. The average annual weight gain of male fish is usually about 1 kg less than that of female fish.

2. Breeding methods of black carp

1. Breeding requirements

(1) Breeding black carp has high requirements for ponds. For example, there must be sufficient water sources around the ponds, and the water quality must be clean and fresh, and must not be contaminated by other substances, so that drainage and water injection can be carried out.

(2) The pond should be located in a place with convenient transportation and easy management.

2. Clean the pond

(1) Before aquaculture, the pond must be thoroughly cleaned. First, the water in the pond must be drained, and then the silt and other debris in the pond must be cleaned. After cleaning, the embankment must be repaired and reinforced.

(2) After the pond is cleaned, expose the pond to the sun for about 20 days, then mix 120 kg of quicklime with water per mu to make a solution, and then sprinkle it over the entire pond. Make sure to avoid any dead corners when sprinkling.

3. Release fish fry

(1) Select active, healthy, uniform-sized, and disease-free seedlings for breeding. The seedlings must meet the national quality standards for fish species and fry.

(2) Before releasing the seedlings, they can be disinfected and then released on a sunny day. No other bait is needed within 1-2 days after release.

4. Feeding

(1) Feeding

① The feed can be selected from special pellet feed for black carp sold by regular merchants. The feeding time and location should be fixed (a feeding table can be set up) so that the black carp can develop good eating habits.

② The amount of feeding each time should not be too much to avoid indigestion of the fish due to overeating. It is recommended to adopt a small amount of feeding method, which can ensure that each black carp can eat enough and avoid feed waste.

③ Determine the feeding frequency according to different seasons (the feeding amount should not exceed 5% of the total weight of the black carp). In summer, the black carp consumes more energy, so the feeding frequency can be increased to 4 times/day. After entering autumn, the feeding frequency can be appropriately reduced.

(2) Feed formula

① Barley and corn 20%, rapeseed cake 15%, wheat bran 15%, fish meal 10%, bean cake 24%, gluten powder 6%, rapeseed oil phospholipid 6%, other substances 4%. The crude protein content of this formula is 29.44%, and the feed coefficient is 2.07. It can be mixed with silver carp, bighead carp, grass carp and other fish species.

② 35% bean cake, 15% corn, 18% wheat bran, 10% soil flour, 5% yeast, 10% vegetable cake, 1% soybean oil, 5% fish meal, 1% inorganic salt, 0.15% multivitamin. The crude protein content of this formula is 27.4%, and the feed coefficient is 2.51. It can be mixed with silver carp, bighead carp and other fish species.

③ Barley 15%, corn gluten meal 15%, rapeseed cake 20%, cottonseed cake 20%, fish meal 6%, blood meal 2%, soybean cake 12%, rice bran cake 6%, premix additive 4%. The crude protein content of this formula is 31.7%, and the feed coefficient is 2.4. It can be mixed with silver carp, bighead carp, grass carp and other fish species.

5. Daily management

(1) Patrol the pond regularly to observe the water quality and the feeding habits of the fish.

(2) When encountering rainy weather, you can turn on the aerator to replenish oxygen for the pond. When the fry enter the mid-term rapid growth stage, it is even more important to maintain quantitative oxygenation.

(3) Change or add water on time to maintain the vitality of the water quality.

(4) Timely and comprehensive understanding and recording of the growth and feeding conditions of black carp, and appropriate adjustments to the amount of feed provided based on the information obtained.

6. Prevent and treat diseases

(1) Disinfect in a timely manner, strictly control water quality, avoid the breeding of pathogens, and adopt a "prevention first, treatment second" approach.

(2) If a sick individual is found, it should be promptly removed and treated symptomatically (other individuals should also be disinfected at the same time), and highly toxic drugs should be avoided during treatment.

How big can a 10cm black carp grow in a year and how long is the breeding cycle?

A 10-centimeter-long black carp can usually grow to about 1-2 kilograms in a year, but due to differences in breeding numbers, breeding techniques and other factors, the actual size of the black carp depends on the specific situation. Black carp is one of the "four major fishes" in my country. The first maturity age of Yangtze black carp is 3-6 years old, and male fish will be 1-2 years earlier. When mature, the body length is about 900 mm and weighs about 11 kilograms. When mature, the female fish is about 1 meter long and weighs about 15 kilograms.

1. How big can a 10cm black carp grow in a year?

1. Generally speaking, a 10-cm-long black carp can grow to about 1-2 catties in a year. However, due to factors such as the number of fish raised and breeding technology, the actual weight of the black carp may vary.

2. Black carp grows very fast. A black carp of 2-3 winter age can usually reach about 6-10 jin, while the common black carp on the market usually weighs about 30-40 jin and is larger in size.

3. Among my country's "four major carps", black carp is the fastest growing one. The Yangtze River black carp first matures at the age of 3-6 years (most mature at 4-5 years). If it is a male fish, it will be 1-2 years earlier. When mature, the male fish is about 900 mm long and weighs about 11 kg. When mature, the female fish is about 1 meter long and weighs about 15 kg.

4. The growth rate of Jiangxi Hukou black carp is fastest between 1 and 4 years old. When it reaches 5 to 6 years old, it gains an average of more than 3.7 kg per year. The average annual weight gain of male fish is generally about 1 kg less than that of female fish.

2. How long is the breeding cycle of black carp?

1. The breeding cycle of black carp

The breeding cycle of black carp is generally 2-3 years. The black carp fry released in the first year can grow to about 1 jin after 1 year of growth, 4 jin after 2 years, and 15 jin after 3 years. Therefore, it takes about 2-3 years from the release of fry to the market.

2. Herring breeding method

(1) Select healthy, vigorous, uniform-sized, disease-free fry for stocking. Before stocking, soak the fry in 4% salt solution for about 10 minutes to kill bacteria on their body surface.

(2) The stocking quantity should be such that there are clear gaps on the water surface. Usually, 2,000 5-cm-long fry can be stocked per acre of pond.

(3) Feed 4 times a day from May to June. Feed 3 times a day from July to September. After October, feed 2 times a day. Fresh feed can be snails, with a feeding amount of 400 catties per mu. Other feeds can also be fed, such as clam meat, insect larvae, corn, wheat bran, and bean cake.

(4) During the breeding process, disinfection work must be done well and attention must be paid to maintaining good water quality.
