How big can crucian carp grow in a year? Attached with breeding methods

The growth rate of wild crucian carp is generally slow. If it is hatched in May or June, it can generally grow to 100-150 grams in the summer of the second year. Compared with wild crucian carp, artificially cultivated crucian carp generally grows faster. It can reach 200 grams after half a year of cultivation. After one year of cultivation, the weight of crucian carp can reach 1 jin. The growth rate of crucian carp also depends on the suitability of the surrounding environment. When various environmental conditions are relatively suitable and there is sufficient food around, the growth rate of crucian carp is naturally faster.

1. How big can crucian carp grow in a year?

1. In terms of body size, crucian carp is very small and its growth rate is not very fast. Specifically, the growth rate of crucian carp living in different environmental conditions will also be different. The growth rate of wild crucian carp is relatively slow. If it is hatched from May to June, it can generally grow to 100-150 grams in the summer of the second year.

2. Compared with wild crucian carp, artificially farmed crucian carp grows faster. It can reach 200 grams after about half a year of farming, and its weight can reach 1 jin after one year of farming.

3. How big crucian carp can grow is related to the suitability of the surrounding environment. When various environmental conditions are suitable and there is sufficient food around, crucian carp will grow faster and grow larger.

2. Crucian carp breeding method

1. Breeding preparation

(1) Be sure to choose a suitable aquaculture pond, such as building a pond in a location that is sheltered from the wind, facing the sun, and with convenient drainage. Drain the pond water, expose it to the sun for a few days, and then disinfect it with quicklime before releasing the water.

(2) Choose the species to be farmed. After years of artificial breeding and selection, many new species of crucian carp have been produced. You can choose the high-back crucian carp, which grows 2-3 times faster than other species.

(3) Choose high-quality feed for breeding, the protein content must be above 30%.

2. Planting seedlings

(1) When stocking the seedlings, the water temperature must be kept stable at above 10°C. Too low water temperature will affect the survival rate of the seedlings. In order to facilitate watering for breeding and sale, the seedlings must be stocked all at once. They cannot be stocked in several batches, which would make breeding inconvenient.

(2) The seedlings must be disinfected before stocking to reduce the chance of common diseases. Generally, about 2,000 seedlings are stocked per acre. Too dense a population will be detrimental to the growth of silver ribbon tung. They can also be raised together with other fish, and the breeding effect is more obvious.

3. Water quality management

(1) Crucian carp is rich in calcium and phosphorus. These two substances are 2-3 times that of other fish. Therefore, when breeding crucian carp, the calcium and phosphorus content of the water must be guaranteed to meet its growth needs. Lime solution and calcium phosphate can be applied once every half a month.

(2) Other trace elements are also indispensable, so organic fertilizers must be applied according to changes in water quality. If necessary, duckweed or chlorella can be cultivated in the pond.

(3) Pay attention to changes in water quality when the temperature is high. If the water quality is too poor, change the water in time.

4. Feeding management

(1) Crucian carp is an omnivorous fish that feeds on plants. The feed must be in line with the preferences of crucian carp. It should be fed in small amounts and multiple times, 6 to 8 times a day, and not too much each time.

(2) In spring, the temperature is lower and crucian carp's food intake decreases. At this time, the number of feedings can be reduced. In summer, the temperature is higher and crucian carp's food intake increases. This is a period of rapid growth, so the amount and frequency of feeding must be increased.

5. Disease prevention and control

(1) Diseases should be prevented. Diseases of crucian carp include saprolegniasis, hepatobiliary syndrome, and red gill disease. If these diseases are not treated in time, they will lead to the death of crucian carp.

(2) Sprinkle quicklime regularly for disinfection and sterilization to reduce the possibility of disease.

The difference between Haida Bairong crucian carp and Zhongke No. 3 crucian carp

The growth rate of Bairong crucian carp is better than that of Zhongke No. 3 crucian carp. It has a longer body, fewer intermuscular spines, thicker back meat, and 40% smaller viscera. Zhongke No. 3 has a wider range of adaptability to water temperature and can safely overwinter in almost all parts of the country. It has a more diverse diet.

Bairong crucian carp: High technical content: The company spent 6 years on research and development, and is the first in China to use cell engineering technology to cultivate a new tetraploid gynogenetic crucian carp variety from triploids, and has applied for relevant national patents. Fast growth rate: It grows to 0.8 catties in the year of intensive breeding, and can reach 1 catties in the year of intensive breeding in special fish ponds. The growth rate is better than the currently promoted high-yield crucian carp, heterogeneous silver crucian carp and Pengze crucian carp, with a growth rate increased by 30%, a long body, fewer intermuscular spines, thick back meat, and a 40% smaller visceral mass. Dense scales, resistant to transportation: The scales are neat and dense, which is conducive to long-distance transportation. Does not carry sporozoans: After strict technical treatment, the fry themselves do not carry sporozoan pathogens. Zhongke No. 3 crucian carp is a new third-generation variety of heterogeneous silver crucian carp. Generally, the seedlings can grow to about 200-250g in the same year, and the large ones can reach more than 400g. It has the following characteristics: 1. The growth rate of Zhongke No. 3 crucian carp is relatively fast and the meat yield is high. Compared with the high-back crucian carp, the growth rate is about 13.7-34.4% faster and the meat yield is more than 6%. 2. The genetic traits are very stable, and the traits of the offspring are not separated from the parents. 3. The scales on the fish are very tight and not easy to fall off. 4. The probability of infection with iodine bubble disease is low, and the survival rate is relatively high. 5. It has a wide range of adaptability to water temperature and can basically survive the winter safely in all parts of the country. The suitable water temperature for growth is 25-30℃. 6. The feeding habits are relatively mixed, that is, it can feed on floating limb swimming animals and phytoplankton, and can also feed on benthic animals and plants and organic debris (fry below 1.5cm are mainly rotifers, fry 1.5-3cm are mainly animal food, and fry above 3cm are mainly plant food).
