Its exoskeleton is not well developed and its teeth are quite diverse. Due to its many species, its body shape is also inconsistent, some are large and some are small. 2. Hairtail Hairtail is also a kind of fish. It has a ferocious character, a silver-gray body, but a black tail, and is generally about 1 meter long. It is distributed in the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans and is also one of the main seafood in my country. Its swimming ability is relatively poor. It will float on the surface of the sea during the day and fall to the bottom of the sea at night. 3. Grouper Grouper is a large and medium-sized warm-water fish with a wide distribution in tropical and subtropical waters. There are many species of it, generally living near coral reefs. As a solitary fish, it will only swim in groups during the breeding season. This fish also has the ability to change sex. It matures as a female for the first time and becomes a male after one year of breeding. 4. Salmon Salmon, also known as the Great Salmon, is a cold-water migratory fish that spawns upstream, mainly distributed in the back of the Pacific Ocean and the Arctic Ocean. This fish is about 60 cm long and will migrate during the breeding season. After entering the freshwater basin, they will stop eating and die after spawning.

What kind of insects should be fed to young grouper?

1. Feed selection

Grouper is a carnivorous fish with a ferocious diet. The main feed is small fish with high freshness. It is artificially bred and fed with fresh frozen fish. However, the quality and freshness of fresh frozen fish cannot be guaranteed, and there are often parasite problems, so many farmers have begun to choose compound feed.

2. Feeding

Groupers have certain requirements for feed size during different growth periods. Generally, farmers will cut small fish into appropriate sizes using fish cutters according to the size of groupers. In the later stage, compound feed should have a protein content of about 35-40%, and plant protein raw materials can also be added.

3. Feeding of fry

High-quality feed will promote the growth of grouper. From feeding small fish to artificial compound feed, grouper has an adaptation process. Farmers should train grouper to eat before switching to compound feed. When the fry are over 3cm, you can feed some minced fish on the feeding table for training. After about 2-3 days, add a small amount of artificial compound feed and minced fish to mix and feed, and then slowly increase the proportion of artificial compound feed until it is completely fed with artificial compound feed.

4. Feeding tips

The daily feeding amount of grouper is generally about 20% of the fish's body weight. Generally speaking, it is fed three times a day. It can be fed with artificial compound feed or fresh grass. If there is not enough zooplankton in the pond, the farmer needs to apply appropriate amount of topdressing to cultivate zooplankton.

Grouper has high requirements for the softness, hardness, color, taste and other palatability of feed. Farmers must pay attention when feeding and choose suitable feed to shorten the breeding cycle.
