CATDOLL: How to cultivate Daphnia and what to pay attention to when cultivating it

To cultivate Daphnia, you first need a container with a diameter of about half a meter, filled with an appropriate amount of water, not too deep. After that, you can introduce Daphnia, find a source of Daphnia in the wild, and pour it into the container after obtaining it. Provide appropriate light, which can accelerate reproduction, but avoid the rise in water temperature and add cold water in time. In addition, you must provide feed, add a little milk or flour solution, etc., but don't put too much. 1. Cultivation container To cultivate Daphnia, you first need a container, usually a water tank, with a diameter of about half a meter, so that there is enough space for it to reproduce. Of course, the larger the water body, the better, the water quality is easier to maintain, and the oxygen content is also high, so it will be more convenient to raise it. However, the water should not be too deep, because too much water pressure is not conducive to its survival, usually half a meter is enough.

2. Introducing Daphnia Daphnia do not appear out of thin air. We need to find a source of Daphnia in the wild and then introduce it into the container. Daphnia can be found in most water bodies. As long as you observe carefully and see white particles in the water jumping around, you can be sure that it is Daphnia.

3. Appropriate light The growth of Daphnia cannot be separated from sufficient light. If the environment is dark, its reproduction will be affected to a certain extent. Therefore, it is best to place the breeding container in a sunny place, but avoid the water temperature rising too quickly. If the water is found to be too hot, it needs to be added with cold water in time.

4. Provide feed Daphnia are more suitable to live in nutrient-rich water, that is, the nutrient content of the water must be high enough so that it can grow well. Usually, you can add an appropriate amount of organic matter to the water, such as milk, flour solution, etc., but don't put too much, so as not to deteriorate the water quality and cause a large number of Daphnia to die.
