CATDOLL : How to clean cat ears?

Cats do not need to take a bath frequently, but grooming their hair is their favorite thing. As for ear canal hygiene, cats cannot do it alone. At this time, careful owners are needed to cooperate with the cat to complete the ear canal cleaning.

1. Tools required:

Baby oil, small bowl, cotton cloth or cotton swabs.

2. Preparation:

Cleaning your cat's ears requires baby oil, a small bowl, and a few cotton cloths or cotton swabs.

3. Check the ears:

When checking a cat's ears, never stuff anything (including cotton cloth) into them because cat ears are very soft.

After checking for black dirt on your cat's ears, use a cotton cloth dipped in baby oil to wipe off all stains inside the auricle.

Be careful when cleaning. If you scrub too hard, it may cause discomfort or even injury to your cat. Use gentle, circular motions.

If you find inflammation in the cat's ear canal, you can put a few drops of cat-specific anti-inflammatory ear water or ear ointment.
