How to solve the problem of cat's bad breath?

Solution to kitten's bad breath:

1. Clean your cat's mouth regularly to reduce the time food residues stay in the cat's mouth and prevent bacteria from growing. It is best to choose a toothbrush with a smaller head so that it can better penetrate the cat's mouth for cleaning.

2. You can feed your cat some cat snacks or teething sticks that freshen breath, or encourage your cat to drink more water.

3. You can gently pry open the kitten's mouth to see if there is any redness in the mouth. If you find any abnormality in the mouth, it is recommended to take it to the veterinary hospital and let the veterinarian check for stomatitis.

4. It is best to feed cats some liquid food, such as chicken porridge, fish soup, lean meat porridge and other liquid foods, which are convenient for cats to digest and absorb.

Reasons why kittens have bad breath:

1. The main reason for bad breath in cats is dental tartar, which manifests itself as spots on the cat's teeth and a very unpleasant odor when exhaled.

2. Indigestion. Some kittens have indigestion. The food in the intestines will secrete related gas, which will be discharged from the mouth, thus forming bad breath.

3. Oral infection. Frequent feeding of cats with canned food, fresh food bags, or soaked cat food can easily cause tooth decay. Food residues form around the teeth, forming tartar, which can develop into periodontitis in severe cases.
