CATDOLL : How long do cats sleep?

Cats sleep about 14 to 20 hours a day, but not all of that time is in deep sleep. Cats' sleep is divided into two stages: light sleep and deep sleep. The deep sleep time is relatively short, only about 4 to 5 hours. Kittens need to sleep longer due to their physical development, and may sleep 16 to 20 hours a day. Adult cats also sleep longer, but they are relatively more active and may sleep between 12 and 16 hours. |
