CATDOLL : Can cats eat lard?

Can cats eat lard?

Cats cannot eat lard. This is because cats' gastrointestinal tract is very fragile compared to humans. When cats eat a lot of fat, they may experience vomiting, diarrhea, loose stools and other symptoms. Cats eating too much lard will make them very fat. When the cat's body cannot metabolize the body's fat, it will be deposited in the cat's body, which will burden the cat's internal organs.

Fruits that cats can eat.

1. Durian: It has high nutritional value, rich in protein and lipids, as well as multiple vitamins, calcium, iron and phosphorus. The dietary fiber inside can also promote intestinal peristalsis. Veterinarians recommend that you eat it, but don't eat it in excess. It's best to eat it at least half an hour apart from a regular meal to avoid affecting digestion and absorption. Because it contains polysaccharides and fats, it is not recommended for obese cats.

2. Apple: It contains a variety of vitamins and nutrients. The phytonutrients contained in the skin are also very suitable for cats to eat, but they should not be eaten too much, otherwise too much apple candy may cause indigestion in cats. Apple seeds contain cyanide, so do not feed cats the core of apples.
