Factory farming of yellow eel changes the traditional soil-based, outdoor static water farming to soil-free, indoor and outdoor flowing water farming, which is easy to manage, high in yield and good in benefits. Its production technical indicators are: 2-2.5 kg of 25-40 g eel fry are placed per square meter, and full-price compound feed is fed. After 4-5 months of feeding, the production cost is 15-20 yuan/kg based on the current raw material cost. The technical points are as follows: Choose a place with clean water source to build a pond. There are two types of ponds: outdoor and indoor. The area of each pond is 2-20 square meters, the depth is 0.5 meters, the pond is smoothed with cement, the bank is 0.5 cm wide, and equipped with a water reservoir. The pond is required to be able to drain and irrigate freely, and aquatic plants are planted in the pond, covering 70% of the pond surface. Select high-quality eel fry and release them at 2-2 kg/m2. It is best to choose artificially bred eel fry and disinfect the fish before release. Injured or weak eel fry cannot be used. Feeding complete compound feed Before entering the pond, the eel fry must be domesticated first, and then fed with compound feed. The finished feed must be modulated before feeding, that is, 25% of fresh fish paste is added to the finished feed to make noodle-shaped bait with a diameter of 3-4 mm. The feeding amount is 1%-2% of the eel's body weight. The eel has feeding inertia. When it becomes accustomed to a certain bait, do not change it casually, otherwise it will seriously affect the eel's growth. Strengthen daily management to keep water flowing for 10 hours a day, and pay attention to sewage disposal, rodent prevention, and pool flooding prevention. Pay attention to disease prevention and treatment. Regularly apply anthelmintics and fungicides in the pond, and remove dead and sick eels. If wild eel seedlings are used, anthelmintics should be carried out before stocking, because the rate of early infection of the thorny head is very high. You can choose "Wanlong No. 1" or "Wan No. 3" drugs for anthelmintics. ==================================== Building a pond in the courtyard to raise eels has considerable benefits. If a 10-square-meter cement pond is built and the eels are properly raised, a profit of more than 1,000 yuan can be made in the same year. The area of the eel pond is 10 to 20 square meters, and a semi-underground pond is preferred. The pond is 1.2 meters deep, built with bricks and plastered with cement. Leave a drainage outlet 20 cm below the edge of the pond, and seal the drainage outlet with a gauze to prevent the eels from escaping during drainage. The edge of the pond should be built in a "T' shape to prevent the eels from escaping. A feeding table should also be built in the middle of the pond, with a height of 70 cm and an area of 1 square meter. Leave more space under the feeding table for the eels to drill holes and rest. After the preparation pond is built, it should be disinfected. The method is: fill the pond with water, add quicklime at a dosage of 1 kg per square meter, soak for 10 days, and then drain all the water. Dry rubbing method can also be used for disinfection, that is, use fresh potatoes to wipe the entire pond once, and it can be used after 5 days. After disinfection, first spread 20 cm thick wheat straw or rice straw on the bottom of the pond. After the wheat straw or rice straw rots, it can produce a large number of red nematodes for eels to eat. Then spread 30 cm thick high-quality pond mud on the grass. Ridges should be made around and in the middle of the pond to facilitate eels to dig holes. When filling water, the water depth should be 10 cm higher than the bait table. Plant a small amount of aquatic plants in the pond, and the area of aquatic plants accounts for about 1/3 of the total water surface. Stocking: Soak the yellow eels without external injuries in 0.5% potassium permanganate solution for 5 minutes and then put them into water. The size of the yellow eels should be the same to prevent the big ones from eating the small ones. The stocking density is 2.5-3.0 kg per square meter. Feeding: Do not feed newly released eels within 7 days to make them hungry so as to change their eating habits. Small fish, shrimps, maggots, earthworms, snails, etc. are good baits for eels. Animal offal can also be fed. Compound feed can be animal blood plus wheat bran, bean cake, cornmeal, etc., which are steamed and fed. The bait should be placed on the bait table and fed once every evening. The amount of bait should account for 5% of the total weight of the eel. In summer nights, you can hang a light bulb (preferably a black light) 10 cm above the water surface to lure flying insects and let the eels eat. Practice has proved that fly maggots are the best feed for eels and can be fed for a long time. The method of breeding fly maggots is to mix pig blood (other animal blood is also OK) with wheat bran and bean cake powder, add water and boil it, and then put it in a tank or basin. After 7 days, a large number of fly maggots can be bred and can be fished out at any time. Use 0.5% Disinfect with potassium permanganate solution before feeding. Reproduction Unlike other vertebrates, eels are female for the first half of their lives and male for the second half. That is, those under 30 cm in length are female, and those over 35 cm are male. Therefore, eels should be about 20 cm long when stocked. The eel breeding season is from May to August each year, and each eel can lay about 300 eggs. If you find a pile of white eel vomit on the water surface, The white foam is the egg. At this time, the eggs can be taken out and put into the hatching pond. After 3 days, the eel fry will hatch. The eel fry can be fed with a boiled egg yolk, which can be crushed and mixed with water and poured into the pond. Each egg yolk can feed 10,000 eel fry at a time. After half a month, other baits can be fed. Since the eel has a strong reproductive capacity, it only needs to be put in once to reproduce continuously. Management: Since the eel pond is small, water quality regulation should be strengthened. Generally, 1/3 of the total water volume should be injected every 10 days. In hot summer, a canopy can be built above the pond. In winter, the pond should be filled with water to facilitate the safe wintering of the eels. Disease prevention: The eel has strong disease resistance and rarely gets sick. It has only one major disease, powdery mildew. Prevention and treatment methods: If you find white powdery spots on the eel's body, you can catch a toad, cut its head, and hang it in the water to swing it back and forth so that the toad venom dissolves in the water. This will cure the disease. To prevent the disease, you can raise a few toads in the pond. When catching eels, they can grow to three times their original stocking weight in the year they are caught. When catching them, the pond water is first drained and then the mud is turned over to catch them. |
