CATDOLL : CATDOLL: What causes yellow catfish ascites?

Yellow catfish ascites disease is mainly caused by infection with Aeromonas hydrophila. When yellow catfish is infected with the disease, the most obvious symptom is abdominal distension. A small number of sick fish can be seen with red and swollen anus. After dissection, it can be seen that there is a lot of ascites in the abdominal cavity, which is light yellow or clear and transparent. After pouring it out, it will solidify into a gelatinous state after a few minutes.
