Chinese hairy crabs: The natural distribution area of Chinese hairy crabs is mainly in northern Asia, western North Korea and China. In my country, it is distributed from the Yalu River estuary in Liaoning in the north to the Jiulong River in Fujian in the south and the Three Gorges Estuary in Yichang, Hubei in the west. With the artificial cultivation and release of crab seedlings, this crab has spread all over the country, but the quality is the most famous for the hairy crabs in Yangcheng Lake in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the Shengfang crabs in Hebei. IV. Differences in habits 1. Swimming crabs: Swimming crabs live in the ocean. After leaving the high-salinity and high-oxygen environment, the survival rate is greatly reduced. The adapted salinity is 13-38, the optimal growth salinity is 20-35, and the adapted salinity for wintering is 28-35. If the salinity is lower than 8 or higher than 38, they stop eating and moving, and all die after one day. 2. Hairy crabs: Hairy crabs often live in burrows on the muddy banks of rivers, lakes and ponds, hiding during the day and coming out at night. They feed on animal carcasses or grains. In autumn every year, they grow plump and often return to the nearshore to reproduce. The eggs carried by the mother hatch between March and May of the following year. The young undergo multiple metamorphosis and develop into young crabs, then swim upstream to continue growing in fresh water.

The first and second pairs of antennae are located in the center of the forehead, and there are stalked compound eyes on the outside; the mouthparts include a pair of mandibles, two pairs of maxillae, and three pairs of maxillopods.
