How about raising loaches now? Loach farming is a very popular aquaculture project. There are a large number of breeding bases in the north and south. It has the advantages of short breeding cycle, low breeding requirements, and stable market sales price, and has been favored by many entrepreneurs. Let's take a look at the prospects of loach farming. Analysis on the Prospects of Loach Farming 1 In the consumer market, loach has been selling very well for many years. The Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan markets have also repeatedly requested goods from the important places, and the quantity is large. According to the observation of the loach market at home and abroad, Chinese loaches are also very popular in the Japanese and Korean markets. From 2000 to the present, small loaches have been popular in the market for more than 10 years. The annual demand of the domestic market is 120,000 to 160,000 tons, but the market can only provide 60,000 tons, and the gap is very large. In 2002, it was 16 yuan per kilogram, and in 2008 it rose to 26 to 46 yuan. Although the price was a bit unstable in the first three years, the market demand for loaches is on the rise. Therefore, the capacity and sales potential of loaches in the domestic and foreign markets are very large. If we increase scientific and technological and material investment on the existing basis, expand the scope of loach breeding, and implement seedling breeding, adult loach breeding, loach processing and sales, we will definitely achieve considerable economic and social benefits. 2 Market Analysis After the great fluctuations from 2013 to 2016, the price of loach showed a stable trend in 2017. The rise of loach farming in China, although it occupies a favorable geographical location, has also driven consumption in many cities. Loach is no longer limited to a few hot pot cities, and consumption will drive market supply and demand. The age of farmers tends to be the younger generation. The promotion of new concepts and technologies will produce green and healthy aquatic products. And foreign exports have begun to recover, which can greatly expand the consumer population. What is the prospect of loach farming in 2018? Since the beginning of the 21st century, people's awareness of environmental protection has been unprecedentedly improved, and they have paid more and more attention to food safety and human health. Therefore, fishery production must shift from a fishery that focuses on quantity rather than quality to a healthy breeding of pollution-free aquatic products. The quality problem in aquaculture is one of the major contradictions that restrict the development of fisheries and market competitiveness. It not only affects the market competitiveness and export of aquatic products, but also threatens people's lives and health and damages my country's international image. Therefore, loach farming must take the path of healthy farming. Only in this way can loach farming production continue to develop and the farming industry and its market prospects continue to expand. 3 Advantages of breeding The cost of breeding loach is much lower than that of other fish, and its survival rate is also very high, so it does not require too much investment or too much loss. In summary, loach breeding requires relatively less investment, and the financial pressure is relatively small. Therefore, it is very suitable for many people to breed, and the profit of loach breeding is also very obvious. How about raising loaches now? About one mu, 50,000 to 100,000 young seedlings of 3-4 cm in length can be released per mu. Before releasing the seedlings, base fertilizer should be spread, mainly organic fertilizer, to cultivate a large number of zooplankton as bait for mud shovels. After releasing the seedlings, gradually increase the feeding of feed and apply organic fertilizer. The main types of baits are rice bran, bean cake, bran, bean dregs, silkworm pupa powder, earthworms and food processing waste. Fertilizers include human and livestock manure, crop straw compost, etc. If the water temperature is higher than 30℃ or lower than 10℃, the amount of feed should be reduced. Generally, it can be caught after 8-10 months of feeding, and the high yield can reach 250-400 kg per mu. Each tail is about 15 cm long and weighs 10-15 grams, which meets the commercial specifications. For example, for one mu of water surface, 400 kilograms of loach seedlings are stocked. (1) Site rental: (Different in different places, adjust the data yourself). The site rental cost for a 1-acre loach pond is about 500 yuan (2) Site reconstruction: Excavator construction costs RMB 160 per hour, and 4 hours of work (excluding existing ponds) costs RMB 640. (3) Funds for purchasing seedlings: RMB 11,200 is required to stock 400 catties of loach seedlings at RMB 28 per catties per mu of water surface. (4) Feed cost: 400 catties of loach seedlings are put in, and 2,800 catties of loach are produced, and the feed is raised according to our company's feed formula. For example, aquatic organisms, earthworms, rice bran, wheat bran, bean dregs, bean cake, wheat, corn, fish meal, etc. are used as bait. The feed cost is about 3,200 yuan. (5) Other expenses: Fishing drugs, water and electricity, fishing nets and other expenses 400 yuan (6) Breeding cycle: Loach generally takes 3-4 months to reach marketable size, and the total breeding cost is 15,940 yuan (7) Output: If one mu of loach is cultivated and 400 catties of loach seedlings are stocked, about 2,800 catties of commercial loach can be produced. The market price of commercial loach is calculated based on the guaranteed price of 12 yuan per catties. The income from 2,800 catties of loach is 33,600 yuan. (8) Profit: income 33,600 yuan - investment 15,940 yuan = 17,660 yuan/mu (if two batches of seedlings are invested in a year, the benefits will be higher). Special tips for loach farming: There are two types of seedlings on the market: artificial and wild. Both can be used for farming, but the farming benefits vary greatly. Is loach easy to raise? The living water temperature is 10-30℃, and the most suitable water temperature is 25-27℃, so it should be a warm-water fish. When the water temperature rises to 30℃, loach will dive into the mud to spend the summer. When the water temperature drops below 5℃ in winter, it will burrow into the mud 20-30cm deep to hibernate. It has strong adaptability to low-oxygen environment. In addition to gill breathing, it can also breathe through the skin and intestines. The vision is very weak, but the sense of touch and taste are extremely sensitive. It is omnivorous. In the juvenile stage, it feeds on animal bait, such as zooplankton, chironomid larvae, and silk earthworms. When it grows up, the range of bait expands. In addition to eating a variety of insects, it can also eat filamentous algae, plant roots, stems, leaves and humus. Adult loach mainly feeds on plant food. Generally, it feeds at night. It stops feeding when the water temperature is below 10℃ and above 30℃. Generally, loaches live in the soil and will burrow into the soil at the fastest speed when they are in danger. There is no need to feed loaches with more bait, just feed other fish. The uneaten bait and feces of fish are the food source of loaches. How about raising loaches now? From the above, we can see that the prospects for loach farming are still very broad, and the farming benefits are also very good. As long as you master the farming technology, it is still very profitable. If you want to raise loaches, you must first build a pond for them. You can use cement to pave it to a depth of about two meters, and then determine the area of the breeding pond according to the scale of breeding you want. Then spread about 20 centimeters of soil on the cement floor. Only when there is soil in the pond can loaches survive and grow normally. There should also be pipes for water injection and drainage in the pond. When breeding loaches, the water inlet should be designed above the pond. Then install a plastic pipe of about five centimeters on it, and put some cloth nets in the drainage pipe to prevent loaches from entering, so as to prevent loaches from entering the drainage pipe. Preparation before stocking: After the pond is built, the inside of the pond should be completely disinfected. The specific method of disinfection is to use quicklime and water to evenly put it into the pond. Generally, about 50 centimeters of tap water should be put into the pond, and then 30 kilograms of lime should be added. After disinfection, the entire pond should be drained uniformly. About a week later, some organic fertilizers can be placed. Organic fertilizers can have some small microorganisms after being exposed to the sun for about two days and two nights. At this time, water can be stored in the pond, and some water plants or summer grass suitable for loach to block the sun should be placed in the pond. Loach seedlings can be released after three days of water storage. While storing water, you should soak the purchased loach seedlings in salt water for about five or six minutes. If there is nothing unusual in the salt water, then you can put the loach seedlings into the prepared pond for breeding. On the contrary, once the loach shows some abnormal behavior in the salt water, such as abnormal activity or abnormal immobility, or even some dead loach, you must pick out such loach. Scientifically raising loaches: If you want loaches to grow faster, you must avoid placing too many loaches in the pond. When you first put loaches, you should generally raise them at a density of about 0.3 kg per square meter. If the breeding density is too high, it will easily affect the normal growth of loaches. It is also easy for loaches to be infected with some diseases. If you want loaches to grow faster, you must scientifically follow the correct breeding methods to breed them. Don't think that the more loaches you raise, the higher the yield. The food that loaches eat is quite diverse. When they are small, you can let them eat some algae in the water. As they grow up, you can feed them some bait artificially when they are about 5 cm long. Generally, you can feed them some animal offal, fresh vegetable powder, and some grains. Even some fish powder can be eaten by loaches. And when feeding loaches, it is best to feed them at a fixed time and place. Generally, feed them once in the morning and once in the evening. Temperature suitable for loach: Loach prefers to live in warmer places. Generally, loach can live in water with a temperature of 10℃ to 30℃. Generally, the water temperature in summer is suitable for loach to live normally. In summer, the temperature is generally above 20℃. At this time, loach grows faster. If you want loach to grow faster, you must feed loach enough food at this time. However, if the temperature is relatively high, it will also affect the normal life of loach. Generally, when the water temperature drops below zero or below five degrees in the early mountains to winter, loach will sometimes stop growing. |
