How to mix and raise loaches?Loach can be raised with fish. Loach can be raised with mild fish, such as the four major carps. It cannot be raised with fierce fish such as black fish and mandarin fish. Key points for high yield of eel and loach interbreedingEels and loaches are delicious and nutritious, and are both excellent freshwater fish. In recent years, due to overfishing, pesticide poisoning and environmental pollution, the natural wild eels and loaches have decreased in resources, and the market is in short supply. Therefore, the development of artificial breeding of eels and loaches has a very promising prospect. Eels and loaches fed with compound feed grow fast, and raising loaches in eel breeding ponds is highly profitable. The high-yield breeding technology is as follows: 1. Build a breeding pond. The pond for raising eels and loaches should be located in a place that is sheltered from the wind, facing the sun, with a quiet environment and convenient water sources. Cement pools or earthen pools can be used, or cages can be used in reservoirs, ponds, ditches and rivers. The area is generally 20 square meters to 100 square meters. It is difficult to manage if it is too large. If eels and loaches are raised in cement pools, they must be de-alkali treated before stocking. If eels and loaches are raised in earthen pools, the soil must be hard and the bottom of the pool must be compacted. The shape of the eel pond depends on the terrain. If it can be square, it can be square. If it can be round, it can be round. The depth of the pond is 0.7 meters to 1 meter. Whether it is a cement pool or an earthen pool, a layer of fertile mud must be filled at the bottom of the pond, 30 centimeters thick. Fertile mud with more organic matter is better, which is conducive to eels and loaches digging caves to live in. When building a pond, pay attention to installing the fish nets at the water inlet and overflow outlet to prevent eels and loaches from escaping. About 10 days before stocking, the pond should be thoroughly disinfected with quicklime, and the pond water should be drained and filled with new water 3 to 4 days before stocking. 2. Choose the right seedlings. The key to the success of eel and loach farming is seedlings. It is best to use artificially bred and domesticated dark yellow large-spotted eels or golden small-spotted eels as eel seedlings. Do not use variegated eel seedlings or eel seedlings that have not been domesticated. The size of eel seedlings should be 50 to 80 per kilogram. If they are too small, their feeding ability will be poor and the survival rate will be low. The stocking density is generally 1 to 1.5 kilograms of eel seedlings per square meter. After 20 days of stocking, loach seedlings are added at a ratio of 1:10. It is best to use artificially bred loach seedlings. 3. Feed compound feed. First, install the feeding table. The feeding table can be made of wood or plastic. The area is determined according to the size of the pond and is 5 cm below the water surface. Do not feed the eels for the first 3 days after the eel seedlings are released to allow the eels to adapt to the environment. Feeding starts from the 4th day. It is best to feed the eels around 7 pm every day, when the eels have the highest food intake. Artificially raised eels are mainly fed with compound feeds, and some earthworms, river snails, yellow mealworms, etc. are appropriately fed. For artificially domesticated eels, compound feeds and earthworms are their favorite feeds. Compound feeds can also be prepared by yourself, with the formula: 21% fish meal, 19% cakes and dregs, 37% energy feed, 12% earthworms, 1% minerals, 5% yeast, 2% multivitamins, and 3% adhesives. Artificially cultivated dark yellow spotted eel seedlings are fed with compound feed, with the feeding amount being 3% to 5% of the eel's body weight, and fed once or twice a day. The principle of timing and quantity is adopted, and 20 grams of eel seedlings can grow to 200 grams to 300 grams in one year, with high breeding efficiency. Loaches in the pond mainly feed on the excrement discharged by eels and the uneaten eel feed. Loaches reproduce quickly naturally. When the ratio of loaches in the pond is greater than 1:10, bran can be fed once a day. 4. Feeding and management. The growing season is from April to November, with the peak season from May to September. During this period, management should be "diligent" and "meticulous", that is, frequent inspections and management, and quick resolution of problems. Carefully observe the growth status of eels and loaches in the pond so that appropriate measures can be taken in a timely manner. Eels and loaches are habitual of hiding during the day and coming out at night. Keep the water quality of the pond fresh, with a pH value between 6.5 and 7.5, and a suitable water level. 5. Prevent diseases. Once eels become ill, the treatment effect is often not ideal. Prevention must be done before the disease occurs, and early treatment is more important than treatment. Don't believe the saying that "eels don't get sick". Use 1ppm to 2ppm bleaching powder to spray the whole pond regularly. Raising loaches in the eel breeding pond can also reduce eel diseases, because loaches like to move up and down in the breeding pond and eat debris in the water, which can purify the water quality and increase oxygen. |
