CATDOLL: What fish can and cannot be kept with guppies?

Tetra: Both guppies and tetras are small fish with bright colors. Keeping them together can improve their ornamental value. Marilyn: Marilyn is gentle and also belongs to the family of floribunda. It is the same family of fish as guppies and has similar living habits. Zebrafish: Zebrafish and guppies are similar in size and have gentle personalities. They spend most of their time swimming. They are not demanding on water temperature and quality, so they are suitable for keeping together.

1. What fish can be raised together with guppies? 1. Tetra tetra: The water temperature preferred by tetra is 20-25℃, which is very close to the suitable temperature for guppies. Moreover, tetra has a bright color band from head to tail, which looks very beautiful. Raising it together with guppies can greatly enhance the ornamental value.

2. Mary fish: Mary fish has a gentle personality and, like guppies, belongs to the family Poecilia. Therefore, the two fish have similar requirements for the environment and living habits, so it is very suitable to raise them together.

3. Zebrafish: Zebrafish and guppy are similar in size, and they both like weakly alkaline water. Zebrafish have a gentle personality and swim in the fish tank all day long, so generally there will be no conflicts between them.

2. What kind of fish should not be raised together with guppies? 1. Medium and large fish: Guppies should not be raised together with medium or large fish because they are large in size and can easily bully guppies. Also, guppies do not have strong attack power. If they are raised together, they can easily be eaten by large fish.

2. Aggressive fish: Guppies are gentle in nature and generally will not actively attack other fish. If they are raised together with fish with strong personalities, they can easily get injured or die.

3. Cold-water fish: Although guppies can tolerate water temperatures of 16°C, long-term low temperatures will cause their physical condition to deteriorate and their resistance to decrease. Therefore, it is best to choose fish with similar habits for guppies to raise together.
