CATDOLL: How to feed a small snail if you find one (How to feed a small snail if you find one)

1. How to raise the small snails you picked up?

The wild snails you pick up need to be kept in a moist, cool place, with a temperature of 16-30 degrees and a humidity of 60%. They should be fed with vegetables and fruits on a daily basis, and kept away from the sun and salt. Snails are prone to death when exposed to salt and sunlight. They can be kept in a transparent, sealed, breathable glass container, with some sterilized soil spread on the bottom of the container, and the soil should be sprayed with water regularly using a spray bottle.

You can feed wild snails vegetable leaves, fruit pulp and peels, such as cabbage and watermelon peels. Just rinse the leaves and peels before feeding. Note that snails cannot touch salt, and salty foods cannot be used for feeding. The body of a snail is made of water. Once it encounters salt, it will quickly dehydrate and die.

2. How to raise small snails?

We all like to keep some pets, because pets can bring people happiness and help their owners eliminate some loneliness. However, some people want to keep small snails, so how should snails be fed?

Step 1: First, you need to find a box, preferably a sealed box with a lid (must be breathable). If you don’t have one, you can also use an open box and cover it with a layer of net to prevent the snail from crawling away.

Step 2: Then put paper towels on the bottom of the box, preferably smell-free paper towels, and then spray them with water because snails need a humid environment, otherwise they will dry out and die.

Step 3: Generally speaking, snails should be fed three times a day. Before feeding, check whether the paper towel is clean (whether the snail has defecated). If it is dirty, replace it with a new moist paper towel before feeding the snail.

Step 4: In addition, snails do not like sunlight and must not be kept in the sun. The room temperature between 25 and 30 degrees is the most suitable environmental temperature for snails.

Step 5: You can feed the snails some vegetable leaves and fruit slices, because snails are omnivores and like to eat these things. However, they cannot contain salt, because snails are afraid of salt.

Step 6: You can also put some grass or branches in the snail box. This will create a better living environment for the snail and allow the snail to crawl around so it isn't too monotonous.

3. How to raise small snails?

The little snail is so cute*^o^ How to breed it:

① Preparation: A glass container that is at least three times larger than the snail's body. A thin plastic plate (transparent). Poke a few small holes (for ventilation) and cover the glass container to prevent the snail from escaping. A little water that has just touched the bottom, tap water or boiled water.

②Feeding: Some vegetable leaves, such as water spinach leaves, green vegetable leaves, you can also feed fruits such as watermelon and melon, which should be chopped

③Others: Brush the glass container of the snail frequently to remove feces and mucus. Do not place the snail in the sun, but in a cool and humid place.

4. How to raise the ordinary small snails picked up after the rain?

Just get a small bottle with a hole to let air in. Put a piece of vegetable leaf in it and add a small amount of water and you can keep it alive. I have raised it before.

5. What should the snails I picked up on the ground eat and how should I raise them?

1. Breeding environment. The breeding room should be dark and humid. Snails like darkness, not because they don't need sunlight, but because they should avoid direct sunlight. For example, they can be raised in buildings, bungalows, basements, air-raid shelters, etc.

2. Custom-made breeding boxes. Or according to the actual situation (wooden boxes are best made of odorless poplar, willow, or birch). Plastic basins, brick pools, etc. can also be used as substitutes.

3. Requirements for breeding soil. It is better to use fine river sand for breeding snails. For young snails, you can add garden soil that is rich in humus, loose and moist, but it must not contain pest eggs, and must not be contaminated by harmful substances such as fertilizers and pesticides.

4. Temperature control. When the temperature is controlled above 12 degrees, they can mate and lay eggs. 15℃~25℃ is the most suitable temperature for reproduction. When the temperature is 5 degrees below zero and above 32 degrees, they enter a dormant state. 5. Ensuring humidity is the core of management. Indoor air humidity should be controlled within the range of 70%~85%. The breeding soil is kneaded into a ball and falls apart when touched (this is a sign of 30%~40% humidity). The humidity of the breeding soil for breeding cattle can be 30%. 35%~40% is best for commercial cattle. The thickness is generally 800 meters. 6. Feeding excellent feed is the guarantee of success. Snails are omnivorous animals. Green feed: such as cabbage, lettuce, sunflower leaves, melon leaves, bean leaves, tomatoes, eggplants, etc.; juicy feed: such as various melon peels, fruit tubers, cucumbers, potatoes, carrots, etc. Extended information Snail breeding precautions: 1. Keep the breeding box clean and hygienic. 2. Maintain a reasonable density to prevent crowding. 2,000 to 3,000 snails per square meter is appropriate, and the boxes should be divided in time as the snails grow. 3. Control the temperature and humidity. The temperature is generally controlled between 12℃ and 30℃, and the moisture content of the breeding soil is preferably 40%.
