Then, we get some wild aquatic plants and put them in the fields. They reproduce quickly and provide shrimps with habitats and reproduction.

Then comes the highlight, the selection of shrimp seeds. Generally, we have to invest at least 1,000 kilograms of seeds in 10 acres of land here. The average price of one kilogram is 12 yuan, so the expenditure on shrimp seeds is about 12,000 to 13,000 yuan. One thing you need to pay attention to is. When selecting seeds, try not to choose shrimp seedlings from just one place, but from several distant places. Otherwise, inbreeding will occur and there will be many iron-shell shrimps in the future, and you cannot sell them at a high price.

Secondly , there is the issue of feed. We have 80 yuan per bag of feed, 40 jin per bag, one bag per day, and we also feed some cooked wheat or crushed corn kernels as supplementary food every day. There is no need to be too particular. The supplementary food is all our own. For 40 days, it is more than 3,000 yuan, based on 10 mu of land. Finally, there is the issue of tools, which are essential. Ground cages cost 120 yuan each. My family put 15 in the shrimp field, and the expenditure was 1,800 yuan. Then a boat costs 80 yuan, and a shrimp box costs 40 yuan each. My family bought 4 and spent 160 yuan.

There are other non-essential items, such as nets to prevent lobsters from escaping. My family doesn't have one, so it depends on the situation. Monitors cost 120 yuan each, but my family doesn't have one, and most people don't have one, because there are shrimp fields in this area, and someone has set up a shed underneath to watch, and people around take turns to guard, so it's unnecessary. Oh, and I forgot one more thing, which is the loss of lobsters. We can't guarantee that crayfish won't die, but they will die of illness, birds and mice will eat the shrimp, and the ground cages will get injured and die, which are all normal.

If you can ensure that lobsters rarely die, you will make money, so you have to go to the fields every day and fish out the dead ones. We have a big owner here who dug 200 acres of shrimp fields. Now it is hot and more than 300 kilograms of shrimp die every day. It is heartbreaking, so prevention is the most important. If the mortality rate is guaranteed to be low, 1,000 kilograms can increase to 3,000 kilograms. According to the market price here, the average commercial shrimp is 12 yuan per kilogram. 10 acres of fields can produce about 180 kilograms per day, and more than 2,000 can be sold every day, which is still very profitable. The more fields, the better, as long as the mortality rate is controlled. Next year, we can also sell shrimp seedlings. Our shrimp seedlings are just starting out at 30 yuan per kilogram. It only takes a few days, and we can sell more than 50,000 a week. Of course, it will be cheaper in the future. After calculation, the expenditure of 10 acres of fields is about 30,000, an average of about 3,000 per acre.
