1. Will eels in cages die if they are not fed? Will die. The following points should be noted during cage farming: (1) In aquaculture, the eels have a lot of mucus on their bodies. When placed at high density, the accumulated mucus is decomposed by microorganisms in the water, which quickly consumes all the dissolved oxygen in the water, leading to the death of the eels. After being placed in the cages, the eels sometimes get tangled up in balls, causing mass death of the eels. (2) In the wild, when the water temperature exceeds 32°C, the eels dive into the water to escape the heat. However, cage culture changes the original environment. When the water temperature is too high, the temperature difference after changing the water should not exceed 3°C. When the temperature difference after changing the water exceeds 10°C, it will cause the death of a large number of eels. (3) Due to the high density of rice field eel farming, when the amount of feed is insufficient, they will bite each other and become infected with mold, which will cause "white hair" to grow on their body surface. The sick fish will lose their appetite and die. (4) The feed should be fresh. The rotten and smelly feed left in the cages should be removed in time, otherwise it will easily cause enteritis. (5) During the process of catching, transporting and stocking eels, try to avoid abrasions to prevent bacterial invasion and the occurrence of red skin disease. Symptoms include bleeding and inflammation on the body surface, which are most obvious on the abdomen and sides, and are in the form of lumps. Treatment requires a combination of eye drops and topical disinfectants. 2. Is it better to feed piglets on the first day of weaning or not?Feed less On the first day of weaning, the piglet mainly looks for its mother and is extremely uncomfortable. It will only take the initiative to eat when it is hungry, so feed it frequently and in small amounts. When piglets are weaned, they will experience stress when their feeding method changes from breast milk to feed due to their unfamiliarity. Therefore, when weaning piglets, we need to adopt a scientific approach to allow them to transition from breast milk to feed. The most important thing is to feed the piglets small meals frequently and gradually add feed to them in the week or so after weaning. During the weaning stage, we can also add winter and summer Taibao to the piglets' drinking water, which can improve the piglets' ability to resist stress and prevent them from not eating due to weaning stress. 2. Regulate the stomach and intestines. Many of our farmers may have encountered such a situation, that is, once the piglets are overfed during the weaning stage, they will have diarrhea. This is a typical case of indigestion in piglets, and this phenomenon is very common in our breeding process. Therefore, it is also important for us to regulate the stomach and intestines of weaned piglets and strengthen their digestive ability. When the piglets are weaned, we can add Baoyu Taibao to the piglet feed, which can not only increase the piglets' appetite, but also prevent the piglets from having diarrhea during weaning. 3. Deworming and nutritional supplements. We need to deworm the piglets after weaning. But we should not start deworming the piglets right after weaning. The more appropriate time to deworm the piglets is about 15-30 days after weaning. This period of time is the most appropriate for deworming the piglets. After we deworm the piglets, the next step is to supplement their nutrition. We can add Multivitamin to the piglets' feed or drinking water. The purpose of this is to allow the piglets to obtain diversified nutrition after weaning, which is conducive to accelerating their growth rate. 3. How long can loach go without feeding?Loaches can live for about a month without food. Here are some ways to deal with loaches: Solution 1 for live loach: No abdominal dissection Loach fish usually do not need to be killed, especially small loach fish, which can be cooked directly, but before cooking, the loach fish must be allowed to vomit out the fine sand and waste. How to let the loach fish vomit out the fine sand and waste in its stomach? If you are not in a hurry to eat it, put it in cold water and let the loach fish vomit out the fine sand and waste slowly. If you are in a hurry to eat it, you can use some tips to let the loach fish vomit out the fine sand and waste quickly. Tips to quickly solve loach fish: 1. Salting method: Drain the water for raising loaches and pour it into a covered container, add salt at a ratio of 5-8 grams of salt to 500 grams of loach, and immediately cover the container. After 20 minutes, the loach will actively spit out all the dirt and impurities in its body. 2. Add the chili peppers. Put the loach in cold water, and then put in two cut chili peppers. The loach will vomit out the mud in its belly. After the loach has vomited out the mud, put in a small amount of wine, shake it again, wait for the loach to get drunk, and then use salt and water to remove the sticky juice. 3. Drop a small amount of oil. Drop a small amount of cooking oil or salad oil in the container where the loach is placed, and let the oil droplets fall on the surface of the river. It will automatically spit out the dirt in its stomach. After the loach has spit out the fine sand and dirt in its stomach, it can be cooked. Solution 2 for live loach: abdominal dissection If the loach is relatively large, it is best to use the abdominal dissection method to deal with it. One reason is that it is more difficult for a large loach to vomit out the dirt in its body. The other reason is that the gallbladder of a large loach is also relatively large. If the gallbladder and other internal organs are not removed by abdominal dissection, it will taste bitter. 4. Can enzymes be fed to pigeons? Is it okay to feed pigeons a small amount of enzymes? Do not feed too much. It will affect the pigeon's stomach. 5. Can egrets be fed rice?Yes, because rice is high in protein and vitamins, and eating it can not only increase body heat, but also promote calcium absorption. Rice is very soft and has a strong flavor, which can increase the appetite of egrets. They can swallow it directly without biting it with their teeth, and they don’t need to drink water to relieve it. Moreover, rice is easily digested by egrets’ stomachs and intestines, so they won’t be overfed. 6. Can rabbits be fed sand apples?Rabbits cannot be fed with sand apples, which mainly provide rabbits with the daily crude fiber they need, followed by protein, amino acids, etc. Different families of forage have different nutritional components and palatability. Leguminosae forage is generally more palatable than Gramineae forage, and fresh forage is generally better than green hay. In terms of nutritional value, young and tender forage has high nutritional value and low crude fiber content, while mature forage has low nutritional value and high crude fiber content. 7. How long can you go without feeding your fish? Each fish has a different physique and consumes different amounts of energy. If it is a small fish, it will not die if it is not fed for about a week. It is in the period of growth when it needs to consume more energy. If it is a large fish, it has a large body and stores more energy, so it can survive longer without being fed. It can survive without being fed for a month or even longer. If it is a cold water fish, the metabolism is slow and the duration of survival is longer. However, tropical fish have a fast metabolism and the duration of survival is shorter. 8. How many days can a turtle go without being fed?1-2 months. Tortoises are relatively resistant to starvation among all animals, and can generally go without food for 1-2 months. During hibernation, it can last longer, up to 4-5 months without eating anything. On the contrary, summer is the growth stage of turtles, and their metabolism is relatively fast. Not eating for about a month will endanger their lives. Moreover, the larger the turtle is, the longer it can endure hunger. On the contrary, the smaller the turtle is, the more likely it is to die if it is hungry for too long. Generally, a small turtle may starve to death within a dozen days to several months. 9. Can sorghum be fed to birds?Sorghum can be used as a bird feeder. Some people in rural areas plant sorghum until it matures. Birds fly over and stand on the sorghum ears to eat the cracked sorghum grains. Especially sparrows come in large groups to eat, and they kick away a lot of sorghum grains with their claws. Sparrows also like to eat rice grains, but in fact, birds can't eat much, mainly because their claws are very strong. When they stand on the grains, the mature sorghum and rice grains fall to the ground, which is a pity. 10. How long can fish go without feeding?1. If the fish are kept in a fish tank, they will die if they are not fed for one month, because there are relatively few microorganisms in the fish tank. If they are not fed for a long time, they will become weak. If they are not treated in time, the fish will die soon. 2. If the fish are kept in a pond, they may starve to death if they are not fed for 3 months. There are a lot of algae, moss and microorganisms in the pond that can be eaten, so generally they will not starve to death even if they are not fed for 1-2 months. 3. Fish of different species and sizes can endure different days of starvation, but most fish can survive without food for three months and still maintain their size. After more than three months, they will begin to lose weight and eventually die of exhaustion. When raising fish, it is best to feed them once a day. |
